Association One Rescue Association One Rescue is a warm and caring private animal rescue shelter at Cosoba, Giurgiu, Romania Our story starts in 2014.

Association One Rescue’s founder is Adina Vladut, veterinarian who also owns the Onevet clinic together with her husband. Dr. Adina Vladut has a long career as a veterinarian, and almost as long she has been helping homeless dogs and cats in Romania. The big step was taken forward in her rescue work in 2014. From the need to be able to help and shelter abandoned animals, she decided to rent an old

and dilapidated farm and plot in the village of Cosoba at Giurgiu county. Cosoba is located relatively near Bucharest. The location is good and peaceful, it's at the edge of the village and middle of countryside Romania. This was the final selection criterion for Dr. Adina when she visited the farm for the first time. Shelter is built in a yard of 1.5 hectares. Dr. Adina started diligently building kennels and paddocks for the dogs on the farm so that she could help them more. Shelter is improving year by year up to this date and we have a plan to do so in upcoming years as well. Association One Rescue was created in the 3rd year of the shelter in 2017, to be able to support the operations and make the shelter official. Currently, the shelter is a safe haven for our 500 dogs and cats. Our vision is to have a better future for the animals in the shelter and also in the area around us. We hope to achieve less abandonment by keeping ongoing spay and neuter days month after month at the clinic space that is part of the shelter.

We are participating in Hello Doggie Festival this weekend at Titan Park, Bucharest! 🇷🇴

On both days, we’ll have many sweet cats and dogs looking for their forever homes. All of our animals are adoption-ready: dewormed, vaccinated, and ready to start their new lives with loving families.

MISTY 🐾

Misty is a resilient little soul, approximately 1.5 years young. Her journey with us began in the summer of 2025, when she arrived as a tiny, exhausted mother herself. Barely more than a kitten, she had been forced to grow up far too fast. Though she endured the heartbreaking loss of her two kittens, Misty’s own spirit remained unbroken. She has grown strong, healthy, and is now fully ready to leave her past behind and find the forever home she truly deserves.

Despite her early life on the streets, Misty has blossomed into a social and gentle cat. She lives in a small group with us and gets along beautifully with other feline friends. She is still very much a kitten at heart, with plenty of playful energy, though she is still learning to navigate the big world around her.

With humans, Misty is currently a bit timid. She is a girl who values her personal space, though she never misses an opportunity to show up for dinner time! She is still working on building her confidence, and while she keeps a safe, polite distance for now, we are certain that with a little patience and a warm, quiet environment, her affectionate side will shine through.

Because she is social and finds comfort in the company of others, we believe she would thrive in a home with a confident, friendly feline companion who can show her the ropes and give her the security she needs. Misty is looking for a patient family who understands that good things take time—someone willing to give her the space to settle in and the love to help her realize that the world is a safe place after all.

Misty is ready to trade shelter life for a cozy spot on a sofa and the comfort of a family of her own. Are you the one to give this brave little survivor her happy ending? ✨

He’s been waiting in our rescue for a few years, and we don't know why he keeps getting overlooked! Toffe is a handsome 7-year-old boy (50cm, 20kg) who proves that age is just a number.

He is the perfect mix of an energetic boy and a professional cuddler who loves belly rubs.

Super Smart: A fast learner! He knows how to wait for treats and wants to learn new things.
Friendly: He loves most people and has a sweet nature.

Toffe este la noi de câțiva ani și nu înțelegem cm de nu l-a ales nimeni! Este un băiețel superb de 7 ani (~50cm, 20kg), care ne arată că vârsta e doar un număr.

Este combinația perfectă între energie și momente de leneveală, adorând mângâierile pe burtică.

Super inteligent: Învață extrem de repede! Știe să aștepte recompensele și abia așteaptă să învețe trucuri noi.

GHOSTY 👻

Our handsome big boy Ghosty is looking for a home where he can be the one and only prince 💛

Ghosty hasn’t been with us for very long, but he has already stolen many hearts with his affectionate personality and adorable little “ghost whisper” meow — which is exactly how he got his name 👻

Most of his tail had to be amputated, but that doesn’t stop him from living his best life. He’s healthy, happy, and always ready for his next meal — this boy truly loves his food 🍽️

Ghosty is a strong personality and likes to be the boss around other cats. Because of his dominant nature, we believe he would be happiest as an only cat where he can enjoy all the attention for himself.

And honestly… he deserves it. With people, Ghosty is incredibly loving and affectionate. He enjoys being close, getting pets, and soaking up all the cuddles he can get ❤️

Do you believe in love that takes a little time to bloom? Meet Boori.

Boori arrived at our shelter back in July 2025 as a tiny puppy, alongside 9 of her siblings. One by one, all of them found their forever families. Only Boori and her brother Jodi are left behind.

Now 1 year old, Boori has grown into a strikingly beautiful dog with a unique look—yet, she is constantly overlooked. Why? Because she is shy.

Her Personality: The shelter noise can be overwhelming for her, and she tends to hide from strangers. But once she knows you and learns to trust you? She transforms. She will gently get closer to you.

Her Dream Home: We know finding a home for a reserved dog is like looking for a needle in a haystack, but we refuse to give up on her. Boori would thrive best in a countryside or quiet suburban home, ideally with a confident dog friend to show her the world isn’t so scary.

Boori a ajuns la adăpostul nostru în iulie 2025, pe când era doar un pui mic și nevinovat, alături de cei 9 frați ai ei. Doar ea și fratele ei, Jodi, au mai rămas în urmă.

Ajunsă acum la vârsta de 1 an, Boori s-a transformat într-o cățelușă de o frumusețe rară, cu un aspect cu totul unic. Și totuși, lumea trece pe lângă ea. De ce? Pentru că este timidă.

Personalitatea ei: Zgomotul din adăpost o copleșește, iar când apar oameni noi, tendința ei este să se ascundă. Însă, odată ce te cunoaște și prinde încredere? Se transformă total, devenind apropiata de tine.

Căminul ideal: Știm că să găsești o casă pentru un cățel timid e ca și cm ai căuta acul în carul cu fân, dar refuzăm să renunțăm la ea. Boori ar înflori într-o casă la curte (într-o zonă liniștită) și ar ajuta-o enorm să aibă un alt prieten patruped care să-i arate că lumea nu este atât de înfricoșătoare.

Boori are nevoie doar de un om răbdător si iubitor.🏡❤️
