Association One Rescue Association One Rescue is a warm and caring private animal rescue shelter at Cosoba, Giurgiu, Romania Our story starts in 2014.

Association One Rescue’s founder is Adina Vladut, veterinarian who also owns the Onevet clinic together with her husband. Dr. Adina Vladut has a long career as a veterinarian, and almost as long she has been helping homeless dogs and cats in Romania. The big step was taken forward in her rescue work in 2014. From the need to be able to help and shelter abandoned animals, she decided to rent an old

and dilapidated farm and plot in the village of Cosoba at Giurgiu county. Cosoba is located relatively near Bucharest. The location is good and peaceful, it's at the edge of the village and middle of countryside Romania. This was the final selection criterion for Dr. Adina when she visited the farm for the first time. Shelter is built in a yard of 1.5 hectares. Dr. Adina started diligently building kennels and paddocks for the dogs on the farm so that she could help them more. Shelter is improving year by year up to this date and we have a plan to do so in upcoming years as well. Association One Rescue was created in the 3rd year of the shelter in 2017, to be able to support the operations and make the shelter official. Currently, the shelter is a safe haven for our 500 dogs and cats. Our vision is to have a better future for the animals in the shelter and also in the area around us. We hope to achieve less abandonment by keeping ongoing spay and neuter days month after month at the clinic space that is part of the shelter.

Meet Yoga🐕

He is a boy of 5,5 months. He's been with us since his first days in this world. He shouldn't have to grow up in a shelter, but in a loving family❤️.

Temper: 🐶friendly and sociable, very brave, so once you own his trust, he will protect you no matter what

Size: ✨For now, he's 15 kilograms, but when he grows up he will be a beautiful ~25 kilograms dog.

He is honestly such a happy and gentle soul; we don't understand why is he so overlooked by everyone 🥺. If you feel that you can be the change in his life, send us a message 💌

Faceți cunoștință cu Yoga🐕

Este un băiețel de 5 luni și jumătate. Este la noi încă din primele lui zile pe pământ. Nu merită să trăiască în adăpost, ci în sânul unei familii iubitoare❤️.

Comportament: 🐶 prietenos și sociabil, foarte curajos, deci odată ce i-ai câștigat încrederea, te va proteja indiferent de situație

Talie: ✨Acum, Yoga are 15 kilograme, dar cand va crește, va ajunge până la ~25 de kilograme

2 căței și 4 pisicuțe norocoase și-au găsit căsuțe săptămâna aceasta! 🐾❤️

Perfume și 4 pisicuțe (3 puiuți și dragul nostru Jaune) au fost adoptați local, iar micuța cățelușă Mona a plecat spre familia ei pentru totdeauna în Germania prin Hearts4Paws e.V. .

Ne bucurăm enorm pentru fiecare dintre ei! ❤️

Perfume and 4 cats (3 kittens and our lovely Jaune) were adopted locally, while sweet puppy Mona found her forever family in Germany through Hearts4Paws e.V. .

It’s easy to focus on the heartwarming rescue stories and think the stray crisis is being managed. But behind the scenes, rescuers face an endless loop of turning away desperate cases simply because shelter beds and resources are full.

We cannot rescue our way out of an overpopulation crisis. Real change starts before a puppy is ever born on the street. Spaying and neutering treats the root cause, not just the symptoms.

⚠️ Atenție: Această postare conține imagini cu animale aflate într-o stare medicală gravă (3,4)care vă pot afecta emoțional.

Ieri dimineață au ajuns în adăpostul nostru, găsiți de două persoane cu suflet mare, acești puișori aflați într-o stare foarte gravă din cauza unei viroze feline severe — o boală foarte agresivă și infecțioasă cu care se confruntă frecvent puii de pe străzi, nefiind vaccinați. Le sunt afectate căile respiratorii și ochii, iar fără tratament imediat, consecințele pot fi devastatoare.

Lupta lor pentru vindecare abia începe și va fi lungă. Unul dintre micuți are o infecție atât de avansată la nivelul ochiului încât va avea nevoie de enucleere (extirparea chirurgicală a globului ocular), iar ceilalți pui necesită și ei internare, tratamente intensive, apoi deparazitări, vaccinări, iar la vârsta potrivită, sterilizare. Costurile sunt uriașe, așadar avem mare nevoie de ajutorul vostru pentru a le putea acoperi. Orice donație sau distribuire ajută enorm!

Toată această suferință ar fi putut fi prevenită prin sterilizare, singura metodă de a opri suprapopularea de pe străzi. De asemenea, vaccinarea protejează atât animalele din exterior, cât și pe cele care stau exclusiv în casă.

Yesterday morning, two kind persons brought these kittens to our shelter in critical condition. They are fighting a severe feline virus:a highly contagious disease common among unvaccinated street kittens. It severely affects their eyes and respiratory system, and without immediate care, the outcome can be fatal.

Their recovery journey will be long and hard. One of the kittens has an infection so advanced that it will require an eye enucleation (surgical removal of the eye), while the others require hospitalization, intensive care, deworming, vaccinations, and eventually, spaying/neutering.The medical bills are huge, and we desperately need your support to cover them. Any donation or share makes a difference!
All of this suffering could have been prevented through spaying/neutering or vaccination!

ADOPTION FAIR

🐾 The adoption fair in Carol Park brought good luck to the 12 little animals who found their forever homes ❤️

5 kittens and one little dog from One Rescue, along with 6 dogs from ASPA București , were adopted by loving families.

We would like to thank ASPA for the invitation and for being with us throughout the event 🐶, as well as all the adopters who opened their hearts and homes.🫶🏻
