💙 Day 7 – The end of an amazing ResponsAIbility journey
After our local community event, we dedicated the final part of the mobility to DEOR, evaluation, future plans and reflection, looking back at everything we learned and experienced together throughout these seven days.
We officially closed the mobility with our Youthpass ceremony, celebrating the learning journey, personal development and contribution of each participant. 🎓🇪🇺
A huge thank you to all our participants from Romania, Italy and France for your energy, ideas, creativity and active involvement throughout the mobility. Thank you as well to our partner organisations, facilitators, local community, institutions, decision-makers and everyone who contributed to making ResponsAIbility possible.
The mobility may be over, but the ideas, connections and responsibility to use AI ethically and democracy actively continue. 🤖🗳️
See you in the next chapter of ResponsAIbility!

🌍 ResponsAIbility – Connecting with the Local Community
One of the key moments of our mobility was the local community event, prepared and facilitated by the participants themselves.
During the event, young people presented the main results of ResponsAIbility, shared what they had discovered about AI in Romania, Italy and France, and premiered the short films they created during the mobility on democracy and the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence. 🎬🤖
We were also happy to welcome young people from the local community, who joined our participants for interactive activities, discussions and exchanges about AI, democracy and active youth participation.
A great way to bring the results of the project beyond our group and share them directly with the local community!

🎬 Day 6 of ResponsAIbility – From Ideas to Action
Day 6 was dedicated to turning ideas into concrete results! Participants worked in international teams to create short films promoting responsible democracy and the responsible use of AI, one of the main outcomes of the ResponsAIbility project.
In the second part of the day, we prepared for our Local Community Event, taking place on the final day of the mobility. Local young people will join us to discover the project results and take part in interactive activities and discussions about active participation, democracy and responsible AI.
🎤 We closed the day with a fun Karaoke Night, enjoying music, laughter and some great performances together!

Day 5 started with “AI: Opportunities and Risks”, where participants explored the benefits of Artificial Intelligence as well as challenges related to misinformation, privacy, bias, employment and its ethical use.
We continued with “Making Links”. Participants represented four key actors in a democratic society – citizens, government, NGOs and the media – and negotiated their roles, responsibilities and expectations towards each other. The activity helped them understand how these actors are interconnected and how cooperation and civic responsibility contribute to a functioning democracy.
🎬 Finally, participants continued working in international teams on their short films promoting democracy and the responsible use of AI.

🇪🇺🇷🇴 Day 4 of ResponsAIbility – From European to National Decision-Making
Today, our participants had the opportunity to experience democracy and decision-making first-hand!
Our first stop was the European Commission Representation in Romania, where young people learned more about how the European Commission works, how decisions are made at EU level, and how young citizens can make their voices heard and get involved in European democratic processes.
We then visited the Romanian Parliament, where participants discovered how democracy works at national level, how laws are proposed and adopted and how decisions that shape society are made.
A day that brought European and national democracy closer to young people, encouraging them to become informed, engaged and active citizens.

Day 3 continued with the Ladder of Participation activity, where participants reflected on their current level of involvement in society and explored how they can become more active in decision-making and community life.
Later, participants formed international teams to start creating the short films that will be produced as one of the mobility's final outcomes. We also enjoyed a walk through the beautiful nature surrounding Valea Doftanei before ending the day with a wonderful 🇷🇴 Romanian Cultural Night.

This morning, on Day 3 of the ResponsAIbility Youth Participation mobility, we had the honour of visiting Valea Doftanei Town Hall, where we met with Mayor Lucian Vileford Costea. 🇷🇴
Together, we discussed democracy, youth participation, local decision-making and the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in public administration. It was a valuable opportunity for participants to exchange ideas and better understand how young people can contribute to their communities.
Thank you to Mayor Lucian Vileford Costea for the warm welcome and inspiring discussion!

Day 2 of the ResponsAIbility Youth Participation mobility was dedicated to exploring how Artificial Intelligence is shaping our societies. 🌍🤖
The day began with "AI in My Country", where participants from Romania, Italy and France presented the current state of AI in their countries. They shared statistics, national strategies, public policies and real-life examples of how AI is transforming key sectors such as education, healthcare, the labour market and youth engagement. The session sparked meaningful discussions, allowing participants to compare different national approaches and learn from each other's experiences.
In the afternoon, we continued with "Familiarising with AI Tools", a hands-on workshop where participants explored a wide range of AI applications. Working in groups, they experimented with tools across four main categories: text, image, audio, and video generation, discovering both the opportunities and the ethical questions that come with these rapidly evolving technologies.
We wrapped up another inspiring day by celebrating 🇮🇹 Italian cultural night, experiencing Italian traditions, culture and cuisine while strengthening the bonds within our international group.

Yesterday, we officially kicked off the ResponsAIbility Youth Participation mobility! 🇷🇴🇮🇹🇫🇷 This project is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
For the next 7 days, 20 young people from Romania, Italy and France are coming together in the beautiful Valea Doftanei to explore one of today's most important topics: Artificial Intelligence.
Throughout the mobility, participants will exchange the results of their local activities, share experiences from their communities, discuss both the opportunities and challenges of AI and discover how young people can actively take part in decision-making processes at local, national and European levels.
Day 1 was all about building connections through interactive get-to-know-you activities, team-building challenges and creating a positive group spirit. We ended the day by discovering French culture during our 🇫🇷 French Cultural Night.
This is just the beginning—stay tuned for more insights, discussions and unforgettable moments from ResponsAIbility! This project is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
