Qatar Chapter holds 2026 outreach program
By: Ma. Rominda Limun
Qatar Chapter, Middle East Diocese

Strengthening the bonds of faith across the region, the Qatar Chapter of the Middle East Diocese successfully conducted its 2026 Outreach Program on January 12 and 16.

Led by Rev. Fr. Roel L. Lorica, AMA clergy assigned, and Froiland C. Pagaduan, president of the chapter, the initiative was carried out with unified guidance and direction.

The primary goal of the program was to personally visit members residing in distant areas to better understand their situations and provide spiritual guidance. Despite demanding work schedules and personal responsibilities, Rev. Fr. Lorica and Pagaduan made every effort to meet with each member, listening to their concerns and addressing the specific challenges they face in their daily lives.

Through these visits, members received advice, prayers, and spiritual support tailored to their needs. Beyond individual guidance, the program also served to strengthen unity and solidarity within the community. Whether conducted at workplaces or in private homes, each gathering emphasized the importance of brotherhood, mutual compassion, and a deeper relationship with God.

Guided by Romans 15:1–2, the spirit of the outreach reflected the message: “We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up.”

The event stands as a testament to the Church’s active service and genuine concern for every member of the community.
