اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ وَعَافِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ، وَأَكْرِمْ نُزُلَهُ،
وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَهُ

UPAQ extend heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the family of Janab Shujauddin Sb (founding member of UPAQ), on the sad demise of his beloved father early this morning in his hometown, Bareilly after a prolonged illness.
He was widely known and respected for his philanthropic work and selfless service to society.

UPAQ also arranged Namaz-e-Janaza (in absentia) followed by dua-e-magfirah today after Juma prayer at Al Thumama Centre Mosque.

We pray that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala grants him Maghfirah and Jannat-ul-Firdous, and gives the entire family strength and sabr to bear this loss. Aameen....

UPAQ successfully organized a Bowling Competition at Qatar Bowling Federation on 30 July, bringing together members and their families for an evening filled with excitement, laughter, and friendly competition.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of all ages. UPAQ's ladies also impressed everyone with their remarkable bowling skills and precision, making the competition even more exciting. The kids had an amazing time, enjoying every moment and adding to the cheerful atmosphere.

Beyond the game itself, the event strengthened friendships, encouraged family participation, and reflected the true spirit of UPAQ Unity, Togetherness, and Community.

A heartfelt thank you to all the participants, volunteers, and organizers who made this event a grand success. We look forward to many more memorable gatherings with the UPAQ family.

# UPAQ Pays Heartfelt Tribute to His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani

Members of the expatriate community in Qatar gathered in large numbers on *Saturday, 18 July 2026*, at the *MIE-SPPU Institute of Higher Education (Pune University),* located in Barwa Commercial Avenue, to offer their condolences and pay tribute to *His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani*. The solemn gathering reflected the deep respect, gratitude, and affection that the expatriate community holds for the leadership and people of the State of Qatar.

The condolence meeting was jointly organized by MIE-SPPU Institute of Higher Education (Pune University), Uttar Pravasi Association (UPAQ), Bazm-e-Alig, AMU Alumni's Association, Jamia Alumni's Association, Indian Friend Circle, Anjuman Muhiban-e-Urdu Hind, Bazm-e-Urdu, and Karwan-e-Urdu.

The event was attended by distinguished dignitaries, representatives of the media, community leaders, members of various organizations, and a large number of expatriate community members from across Qatar. Participants offered prayers for the departed soul and expressed their solidarity with the leadership and people of Qatar during this period of mourning.

Speakers at the gathering paid glowing tributes to the remarkable vision and enduring legacy of His Highness the Father Amir. They highlighted his transformative leadership, outstanding contributions to the development and prosperity of Qatar, and his unwavering commitment to peace, progress, education, and humanitarian values. They also acknowledged the opportunities and support extended by the State of Qatar to expatriate communities, which have enabled people from diverse nationalities to live and work in an environment of peace, stability, and mutual respect.

The condolence meeting concluded with a special prayer seeking Allah's mercy upon the departed soul, asking that he be granted the highest place in *Jannatul Firdaus*, and praying for continued peace, unity, prosperity, and well-being for the leadership and people of the State of Qatar.

🌿 Beach Cleaning Drive 2026 🌿

The Uttar Pravasi Association, Qatar (UPAQ) successfully participated in the Beach Cleaning Drive 2026 at Al Wakra Public Beach on Saturday, 27 June 2026.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our dedicated members, families, and volunteers who generously gave their time and effort to make this environmental initiative a great success. Your enthusiasm and commitment reflect our shared responsibility toward protecting nature and preserving the beauty of Qatar's beaches.

This initiative, organized by the Ministry of Municipality through the Public Cleanliness Department, supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and aligns with the environmental vision of Qatar National Vision 2030.

Together, we collected litter, raised awareness about environmental responsibility, and demonstrated the power of community service. Every small effort contributes to a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable future.

👏 A special thank you to all the volunteers whose participation made this event meaningful and impactful.
