A Proud Milestone for ICpEP State of Qatar and the Computer Engineering Profession
As the Founding President of ICpEP State of Qatar and one of the six pioneering Computer Engineers conferred as ASEAN Engineers, I am deeply honored and humbled to receive this prestigious recognition during the ASEAN Engineers Conferment Ceremony held in Muscat, Oman on May 30, 2026.
This achievement is not only a personal milestone but also a significant moment for the Computer Engineering profession under ICpEP. It reflects our commitment to professional excellence, ethical engineering practice, innovation, and continuous learning in service of our communities and the ASEAN region.
I extend my sincere gratitude to the Philippine Technological Council (PTC), the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations (AFEO), the ASEAN Engineering Register (AER), and ICpEP for this recognition and for their unwavering efforts in advancing the engineering profession.
My heartfelt appreciation also goes to CHED Commissioner and ICpEP National President, Commissioner Desiderio R. Apag III, whose leadership and vision continue to inspire Filipino Computer Engineers worldwide.

ASEAN Engineers Conferment Ceremony Successfully Held in Oman

The Philippine Technological Council (PTC) proudly hosted the ASEAN Engineers Conferment Ceremony, held in Wyndham Gardens Hotel in Alkhuwair Muscat, is a landmark event recognizing distinguished engineers across the ASEAN region.
The ceremony was organized in collaboration with the Philippine Technological Council PTC MENA Oman International Affairs, the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations (AFEO), and the ASEAN Engineering Register (AER).
This prestigious gathering celebrated the conferment of the title ASEAN Engineer, awarded to professionals who have demonstrated exceptional competence, ethical responsibility, and dedication to advancing engineering standards.
