Bangladesh Community Volunteers and Naseem Healthcare Bring Free Health Screening to Bangladeshi Residents in Doha and Al Khor
**Doha & Al Khor, Qatar – 19 June 2026**
Bangladesh Community Volunteers, in collaboration with Naseem Healthcare, successfully organized comprehensive medical camps in Doha and Al Khor, providing free health screenings and medical consultations for members of the Bangladeshi community residing in Qatar.
The initiative was designed to promote preventive healthcare and encourage community members to take a proactive approach to their health. Participants received a range of complimentary services, including Complete Blood Count (CBC), Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS), Total Cholesterol, Uric Acid, SGPT (Liver Function Test), and consultations with General Physicians.
The medical camps witnessed enthusiastic participation from workers, professionals, families, and senior citizens across the Bangladeshi community. The events were attended by representatives from the Embassy of Bangladesh, community leaders, Bangladesh Community Volunteers, and healthcare professionals, all of whom highlighted the importance of regular health checkups, particularly during Qatar’s summer months when heat stress, dehydration, hypertension, diabetes-related complications, and cardiovascular risks become more prevalent.
During their visit, embassy officials praised the collaborative efforts of Bangladesh Community Volunteers and Naseem Healthcare in promoting community health and well-being. They interacted with participants, volunteers, and healthcare professionals, discussing health awareness, occupational safety, and the importance of early detection and prevention of common medical conditions. The officials also encouraged expatriate Bangladeshis to undergo routine medical examinations and adopt healthier lifestyles to safeguard their long-term health.
Community leaders emphasized that such initiatives not only improve access to healthcare but also strengthen social responsibility and community engagement. Healthcare professionals provided valuable guidance on nutrition, hydration, preventive care, and managing chronic conditions, especially during the summer season.
Organizers announced plans to expand the initiative by conducting additional medical camps in Doha, Al Wakrah, Al Rayyan, the Industrial Area, and other locations across Qatar in the coming months. They also expressed their intention to collaborate with other expatriate communities to further broaden the reach of healthcare awareness and preventive screening programs.
Future activities will include health awareness seminars and educational programs focusing on diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, occupational health, heat stress prevention, nutrition, and the importance of regular medical examinations.
Bangladesh Community Volunteers extended their sincere gratitude to Naseem Healthcare, embassy representatives, volunteers, community leaders, and all participants for their support in making the initiative a success. The organization reaffirmed its commitment to promoting healthier communities and enhancing access to preventive healthcare services throughout Qatar.
