Qatari Business Women Association To provide the platform to empower business & professional women, and to unlock the potential of future generations in support of Qatar National Vision2030

The Qatari businesswomen Association seeks to accomplish several objectives, including:
Developing and strengthening links of cooperation in trading and economic inter – relations between Qatari businesswomen and provide the atmosphere which is necessary to ensure their effectives contribution to economic development. Promoting the role of Qatari women in making their own decisions in exercising c

ommercial and economic activities. Encouraging Qatari women to effectively contribute to the establishment of small – scale business and artisan activities. Emphasizing the role played by the private sector and Qatari women in their effort to contribute to business and investment activities. Link businesswomen to the Chamber of Commerce to absorb business and economic laws and regulations through holding regular meetings and seminars, as will as upgrading businesswomen capabilities and skills. Developing Training programmes that aim at building the capacities of women to help expanding the role of women in the process of overall economic development. Handling the constraints facing Qatari businesswomen and submitting such constraints to the authorities concerned to help find appropriate solutions. Representing Qatari businesswomen in international and regional economic events, Receiving counterpart delegations and strengthening cooperation between Qatari businesswomen and their foreign counterparts abroad. Undertaking any action for upgrading Qatari women contribution to the economic and national fields. Supporting business start ups and small businesses owned by women.

بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للمرأة، الذي يتزامن هذا العام مع شهر رمضان المبارك، نقف لحظة تقدير لكل امرأة تزرع الأمل وتصنع الفرق في مجتمعها.

نحيّي المرأة في قطر والخليج والعالم العربي؛ لما تجسّده من قوةٍ وحكمةٍ وإلهام في كل الأوقات.

نسأل الله أن يكون هذا الشهر الكريم شهر سلام ورحمة، وأن يزيح الغمّة عن منطقتنا ويكتب للجميع الأمن والاستقرار.

كل عام والمرأة مصدر قوةٍ وأمل.

On International Women’s Day, which coincides this year with the blessed month of Ramadan, we pause to recognize every woman who brings strength, wisdom, and hope to her community.

Today we honor women in Qatar, across the GCC, and throughout the Arab world who continue to inspire, support, and build with courage and faith.

May this blessed month bring peace to our hearts and stability to our region.

استضافت رابطة سيدات الأعمال القطريات سحورًا خاصًا بالتعاون مع المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين، بحضور العضوات والشركاء والأصدقاء، في خيمة فندق السامرية أوتوجراف كوليكشن في أجواء رمضانية تعبّر عن روح الشهر الفضيل.

تشرف اللقاء بحضور راعي الرابطة سعادة الشيخ فيصل بن قاسم آل ثاني حفظه الله.

جسّد اللقاء مفهوم القيادة المسؤولة، حيث أكّدنا أن النجاح لا يقتصر على الإنجاز الاقتصادي فحسب، بل يمتد ليشمل البعد الإنساني وصناعة الأثر.

تؤمن الرابطة بأن القيمة الحقيقية لأي مجتمع تكمن في قدرته على التضامن والعمل المشترك.

QBWA hosted a special Sohour in collaboration with UNHCR, bringing together our members, partners, and friends at the Autograph Collection, in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani, QBWA patron.

The evening was a reminder that leadership extends beyond business, it carries a responsibility toward humanity, dignity, and impact.

At QBWA, we believe that true success is measured not only by growth, but by the difference we make together.

اتسمت الأمسية بأحاديث دافئة وتبادل قصص ملهمة وبناء علاقات حقيقية بين سيدات من أفريقيا ومختلف أنحاء العالم، في احتفاء بروح الصداقة والتعاون وقوة الروابط العابرة للقارات. وعكس اللقاء روح الضيافة التي تؤمن بها الرابطة ورسالتها في جمع النساء لدعم بعضهن البعض وتعزيز جسور التواصل مع مجتمع الأعمال الأفريقي.

QBWA had the pleasure of hosting a networking dinner for the international participants of the Conference organized by .hq .

The evening was filled with warm conversations, shared stories, and genuine connections among inspiring women from Africa and around the world, celebrating friendship, collaboration, and the strength of cross-continental sisterhood. استضافت رابطة سيدات الأعمال القطريات يوم أمس غداء عمل مع وفد رسمي من حكومة ولاية أستراليا الغربية برئاسة معالي الوزيرة جاكي جارفيس، وبحضور السيدة عائشة الفردان نائب رئيسة الرابطة وسعادة السفير الأسترالي شين فلاناغان، إلى جانب عدد من ممثلي القطاعات الزراعية والغذائية والاستثمارية و عضوات الرابطة.

وشكّل اللقاء منصة مثمرة لتعزيز الحوار وبحث فرص التعاون، حيث تؤكد الرابطة التزامها ببناء جسور التعاون الدولي وتعزيز العلاقات الاقتصادية بما يدعم نمو الأعمال ويفتح فرصاً جديدة للقطاع الخاص في قطر وخارجها.

QBWA hosted yesterday a working lunch with an official delegation from the Government of Western Australia led by Hon. Minister Jackie Jarvis, in the presence of H.E. Mrs. Aisha Alfardan, Vice Chairwoman of QBWA, and H.E. Ambassador Shane Flanagan, alongside representatives from the agriculture, food, and investment sectors and QBWA members.

The meeting served as a productive platform to strengthen dialogue and explore opportunities for collaboration. QBWA reaffirmed its commitment to building international bridges and enhancing economic ties that support business growth and open new opportunities for the private sector in Qatar and beyond.

وقّعت رابطة سيدات الأعمال القطريات مذكرة تفاهم استراتيجية مع المكتب الإقليمي الألماني للشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة على هامش قمة الويب - قطر، حيث قامت بالتوقيع السيدة عائشة حسين الفردان نائب رئيسة الرابطة، والسيد كريستوف أهلهاوس رئيس المجلس التنفيذي الفيدرالي لاتحاد الشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة الألماني (BVMW) ورئيس رابطة رواد الأعمال الأوروبيين (CEA-PME)، ممثلاً عن المكتب الإقليمي الألماني للشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة.
وتعكس هذه الشراكة التزام الطرفين بتمكين رائدات الأعمال وتعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي وفتح آفاق جديدة للنمو والابتكار بين قطر وألمانيا.

The agreement was signed by Mrs. Aisha Hussein Alfardan, Vice Chairwoman of QBWA, and Christoph Ahlhaus, Chairman of the Federal Executive Board of BVMW – Bundesverband mittelständische Wirtschaft and President of the European Association of Entrepreneurs (CEA-PME), representing the German Mittelstand GCC Office.
The partnership reinforces a shared commitment to empowering women entrepreneurs and strengthening cross-border innovation and economic cooperation.

استضافت رابطة سيدات الأعمال القطريات في مقرها أمس اجتماعاً تعريفياً مع مكتب المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين (UNHCR) في قطر، بحضور السيدة عائشة الفردان نائب رئيسة الرابطة، والسيد أحمد محسن ممثل المفوضية في دولة قطر.
ويأتي هذا اللقاء في إطار التعارف وتبادل الرؤى وبحث آفاق التعاون المستقبلي بما يعزز الأثر الإنساني والمجتمعي.

‏QBWA hosted an introductory meeting with UNHCR Qatar, attended by Mrs. Aisha Alfardan, Vice Chairwoman of QBWA, and Mr. Ahmed Mohsen, UNHCR Representative in Qatar.

بمناسبة اليوم الوطني لدولة قطر، نظّمت رابطة سيدات الأعمال القطريات جولة ثقافية مميّزة إلى قرية عين محمد التراثية وقلعة الزبارة، حيث عشنا تجربة ثرية بين الطبيعة الخلّابة والمعالم التاريخية التي تعكس عمق هوية قطر وأصالتها.

جاءت هذه الجولة احتفاءً بالإرث الثقافي والطبيعي لدولتنا، وتجسيدًا لروح التلاقي والوحدة التي تجمعنا، وتعكس قيم الفخر والانتماء التي نعتز بها في هذا الوطن.
