Qatar Society of Ophthalmology The society operates through its proficient executive, and specialist boards and committees.

The Qatar Society of Ophthalmology (QSO) was established on January 24, 2024, by leading ophthalmologists in Qatar as a society within the Qatar Medical Association (QMA). As a new member of both the Gulf Ophthalmology Societies and MEACO Ophthalmology Societies, QSO is working to bring all ophthalmologist in the state of Qatar under one umbrella focusing on bringing the best praxis to our patient

and the promotion and advancement of the field of ophthalmology. QSO is dedicated to overseeing and conducting scientific training, events, and conferences, and it collaborates with various health institutions locally and globule. As a Jung leading ophthalmology society in the GCC region, QSO aims to ensure the provision of optimal eye care by promoting excellence in ophthalmology and supporting its members in their professional practice.
