🇶🇦 Qatar declares four days of national mourning following the passing of H.H. the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
The Amiri Diwan announced that the nationwide mourning period began on Sunday, 12 July 2026, with flags to be flown at half-mast across the country.
Work at ministries, government agencies, public bodies, and public institutions will be suspended from Monday, 13 July 2026, with employees resuming official duties on Sunday, 19 July 2026.
The nation continues to mourn the loss of a leader whose vision, leadership, and lasting contributions played a pivotal role in shaping modern Qatar.
