As summer settles into the Algarve, it feels like the perfect time to slow down a little and embrace the season.
For the next two Mondays, I’ll be hosting our Unplugged Coffee Chats at Parque da Juventude from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM. For these gatherings, we’re opening things up to everyone—men and women alike—who would like to join us for conversation, connection, and a few phone-free hours together.
After that, we’ll be taking a summer pause from June 29 through August 31. Sometimes community isn’t about filling every space on the calendar. Sometimes it’s about creating room for life, travel, family, beach days, and spontaneous moments that unfold naturally.
That said, I hope this group continues to connect throughout the summer. If you’d like company for a coffee, a walk, brunch, a beach day, or any other casual get-together, please feel free to post it here. Some of the best friendships begin with someone simply saying, “I’m going to be here if anyone wants to join me.”
One of the things I love most about Unplugged is that it was never meant to revolve around one person. It’s about all of us creating the kind of community we wish existed—one conversation, one meetup, and one friendship at a time.
In late August, I’ll announce our new location and timing for the fall, and I’m excited to see how this community continues to grow and evolve.
Thank you to everyone who has shown up, shared a conversation, welcomed a newcomer, and helped make Unplugged what it is becoming.
