Ouvir o interior é dar voz à sua identidade. 🌿
Apresentamos “Vozes do Interior”, um pequeno vídeo que dá palco a quem aqui vive, trabalha e sonha. Através de frases curtas, rostos reais e testemunhos de empreendedores de Pinhel, mostramos o que pulsa no coração das nossas aldeias e vilas — mas também a falta de estruturas, ligações e oportunidades que ajudem o território a crescer.

Há um orgulho imenso nas raízes, na terra e na forma de viver. Mas há também a frustração de quem sente a distância, a falta de apoio e o esquecimento. Mais do que um desabafo, este vídeo é um retrato honesto do interior — e uma afirmação clara de que existe vontade de mudança.

Este é mais um passo no caminho do Global Village, da Hawk Stars. Porque o futuro do interior não se constrói sozinho: constrói-se com a voz, a coragem e a visão de quem continua a acreditar nele.

We present “Voices of the Interior”, a short video that gives space to those who live, work, and dream here. Through brief reflections, real faces, and the voices of entrepreneurs from Pinhel, we reveal what beats at the heart of our villages and small towns — but also the lack of structures, connections, and opportunities needed for the territory to grow.

There is deep pride in these roots, in this land, and in this way of life. But there is also the frustration of those who feel the weight of distance, neglect, and limited support. More than a moment of release, this video is an honest portrait of the interior — and a clear statement that the desire for change is alive.

This is another step forward in the journey of Global Village, by Hawk Stars. Because the future of the interior will not be written on its own; it will be built with the voices, courage, and vision of those who still believe in it.

Pinhel não parte do zero. Mas será que está a captar o financiamento europeu à altura do seu potencial? 🌍📉

Nos últimos anos, o concelho aprovou 32,41 M€ nos fundos europeus PRR PT2020 e 2030. É relevante? Sim. Mas, quando comparamos com outros territórios, percebemos que Pinhel ainda está longe da escala de captação que poderia alcançar.

🔹 Pinhel: 32,41 M€
🔹 Óbidos: 76,65 M€
🔹 Fundão: 195,53 M€
🔹 Guarda: 317,82 M€

No PRR por habitante, a diferença também é clara: Pinhel ficou nos 649€, enquanto a média nacional se situou nos 2.374€.

Isto não serve para diminuir Pinhel. Serve para mostrar que há margem real para crescer.

O desafio não é apenas ter acesso a financiamento. É construir uma capacidade mais forte para ligar talento, comunidade, projetos e oportunidades, e transformar potencial em ação.

É aqui que a Global Village quer ajudar a fazer a diferença.
Porque Pinhel pode ir muito mais longe. 🌍✨

Pinhel is not starting from zero. But is it attracting EU funding at the level of its potential? 🌍📉

In recent years, the municipality secured €32.41M in EU funds (PRR, PT2020/20230). Is that relevant? Yes. But when compared with other neighboring territories, it becomes clear that Pinhel is still far from the scale of funding it could be attracting.

🔹 Pinhel: €32.41M
🔹 Óbidos: €76.65M
🔹 Fundão: €195.53M
🔹 Guarda: €317.82M

The gap is also visible in RRP funding per inhabitant: Pinhel stood at €649 per person, while the national average was €2,374.

This is not about diminishing Pinhel. It is about showing that there is real room to grow.

The challenge is not only access to funding. It is building stronger local capacity to connect talent, community, projects, and opportunities, and turn potential into action.

This is where Global Village wants to help make a difference.

Sabias que Pinhel tem uma base real para se afirmar como território de inovação, valorização local e turismo no Interior? 📍

Há muito que este concelho prova que não lhe faltam recursos. O que muitas vezes falta é ligação, escala e visão partilhada.

✅ Mais de 30 equipamentos turísticos e mais de 300 camas, com forte ligação ao património, à natureza e ao Vale do Côa.

SABIAS QUE PINHEL JÁ FOI UMA DAS CIDADES MAIS VIBRANTES DA REGIÃO?

Pinhel não nasceu como periferia.
Foi praça de fronteira, teve muralhas, comércio ativo e até uma feira anual desde 1391. Cresceu com atividade económica, diversidade cultural (incluindo uma forte comunidade judaica) e expansão urbana marcante.
Em 1770, atingiu o seu auge: foi elevada a cidade e tornou-se sede de diocese.
Hoje, a realidade é diferente.
Em apenas 20 anos, o concelho perdeu cerca de 26% da população. Há menos jovens, menos crianças e cada vez mais envelhecimento.
Mas isto não é um território sem história.
É um território que já foi central — e pode voltar a ser.
O problema não é falta de passado.

É falta de continuidade, investimento e visão.
Pinhel já foi referência.

A pergunta é: queremos que volte a ser?

Pinhel wasn't born as a periphery.
It was a frontier stronghold, with walls, active commerce, and an annual fair dating back to 1391. It grew through economic activity, cultural diversity (including a strong Jewish community), and significant urban expansion.
In 1770, it reached its peak: it was elevated to city status and became the seat of a diocese.
Today, the reality is different.
In just 20 years, the municipality has lost about 26% of its population. There are fewer young people, fewer children, and an increasingly aging population.
But this is not a territory without history.
It is a territory that was once central — and can be again.
The problem is not a lack of past.
It is a lack of continuity, investment, and vision.
Pinhel was once a reference.
The question is: do we want it to be one again?

Liberdade celebrada com arte, partilha e muito ritmo! ✊🔥

O passado domingo foi um dia inesquecível na sede Hawk Stars.
Com o evento ESTRELAS DA LIBERDADE , abrimos as portas para celebrar o que nos move, e o resultado não podia ter sido melhor!
As "Conversas sem Filtro" trouxeram-nos partilhas emocionantes e diferentes perspetivas sobre o 25 de Abril, o Mural Coletivo foi ganhando cores ao longo do evento e significados únicos que iremos partilhar brevemente, a Jam Session provou que a liberdade soa melhor quando é tocada em conjunto. 🎸🎨🗣️

Um agradecimento especial a todos os que passaram pela nossa sede, aos que partilharam os seus testemunhos e aos músicos que encheram o espaço de boa energia.

Foi incrível ver a comunidade unida para partilhar, criar e celebrar.
A liberdade é isto: estarmos juntos e a criar sem limites.
