Hey folks,

I know most people would rather quietly read, watch, take what they need and carry on. And honestly, that's okay. You don't have to comment on everything.

But here's the thing I find difficult.

I've been doing this work here in Portugal for over 6 years. Supporting people through grief, dying, caring, major life changes and times when life suddenly doesn't look anything like you thought it would.

I've written books for some of the hardest moments in life. I share what I've lived and learned, and what I've worked out along the way because I know how much it can matter to find the right words or simply know that someone else understands.

And I'm going to be honest, being good at this work, and providing my time and service free the majority of the time, is not getting me any recognition that puts food on the table, and despite showing up, almost daily, isn't enough if nobody knows I'm here, until it's too late.

So, if something I've written, shared, said or done has helped you, I'd really appreciate you taking a moment out of your day to say something, so others can find me too.

You don't have to write war and peace, a simple line would do.

Even “This helped me” makes a difference.

Because when people are standing at the edge of something they never expected, they don't always know what to search for.

AI is throwing up more and more things which keep us apart and unless someone knows my name, I won't show in search results no matter how much AEO and SEO I do.

I will not stop sharing free advise, or writing books that help. As technology changes how things work, I am doing what I can to learn but am vanishing behind the big money projects.

I love what I do, I love to be there and know that what I did made a difference, I want to do more, to grow this space and continue to support community in a stronger way, and eventually become a non profit.

I have been quietly standing here for years. Supporting through Share & Care Portugal and building this space here for people.

That's me, one single woman, sustaining myself, while helping people find their power and stay sovereign at their most vulnerable times.

Whoop whoop .. its raining 🌧

The pictures don't really show the colour contrast. The sky is dark blue grey and the ground is almost orange.

There is rolling thunder. The sky has been growling for hours. Now its almost bedtime, the sky darkened and Reggie took his girls to bed early.

No watering the trees today. Mittens wants out, Benny and Paws want in and I'm sitting watching through the window listening while the fairies dance on the rooftops.

A beautiful night, with new friends, sharing food, recipes and stories.

The Vegan dishes were truly fantastic, Biryani, home grown Salad 🥗, pasta, curry, dahl, and brownies, biscuits and a strangly tasty thing like blamonge.

To sit, and talk and connect was such a true blessing.
