Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of Deaf women and women with disabilities across Nigeria.

At Kerry Okoh Foundation, we believe that every woman deserves equal opportunities, respect, and a voice in society. Deaf women and women with disabilities continue to break barriers, inspire communities, and prove that disability is not inability.

The Executive Director of Kerry Okoh Foundation (KOF), Mr. Kerry Okoh, paid a heartfelt courtesy visit to Ihogbe College in Benin City.

The Executive Principal warmly received him with great joy and appreciation. KOF proudly sponsored the school’s graduation celebration last year, supporting the graduating students and adding value to their memorable day.

During the visit, the school principal offered heartfelt prayers for Mr. Kerry Okoh, who passionately requested continued partnership and sponsorship to further create a positive impact within the college community.

The Head of Operations, Mr. Sunday Oluwole, also expressed deep appreciation to Ihogbe College for promoting inclusion, especially for students with special needs. He commended the school for creating an enabling environment that supports deaf students and encourages equal opportunities in education.

Mr. Kerry Okoh emphasized that he could not travel without visiting the school, given the remarkable efforts and commitment Ihogbe College has shown toward deaf students. Their dedication to inclusive education aligns strongly with the vision of Kerry Okoh Foundation.

The atmosphere in Agbor, Delta State was filled with joy and excitement as the Executive Director of Kerry Okoh Foundation (KOF), Mr. Kerry Okoh, received a grand and heartfelt welcome from his hometown.

Though now a US citizen, Mr. Kerry Okoh has never forgotten where he came from. Agbor remains home.

Over the years, he has continued to extend love and support to his people — and during this visit, he provided foodstuffs and essential items to members of the community, especially the Deaf community.

The Head of Operations, Mr. Sunday Oluwole, sincerely appreciates the Chairmen and members of the Ika North and Ika South Deaf Associations for the warm reception and the unity shown to our Director. Their love and support mean so much to us!

At Kerry Okoh Foundation (KOF), our mission is clear:

The Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary of Education, District IV, Mr. Olufemi Bamidele PASEDA, today Monday, 9th February 2026, warmly received the winning team 🏆 of the recently concluded Kerry Okoh Foundation Charity Football Match.

The victorious students were received alongside their teachers, with Teacher Godwin Chizobor in attendance, and were proudly led by the amiable Principal of the school.

During the reception, the TG/PS congratulated the students for their outstanding performance and encouraged them to continue keeping their school flag flying high across Lagos State through discipline, teamwork, and excellence both in sports and academics.

The Kerry Okoh Foundation remains committed to using sports as a tool for youth empowerment, inclusion, and positive development, especially among students and the Deaf community.

CLOSING MESSAGE OF GRATITUDE — KOF CHARITY CUP

The KOF Charity Cup has successfully concluded, and we are immensely thankful for the enthusiasm, dedication, and camaraderie that characterized this remarkable event. From the opening to the closing moments, the tournament highlighted not only football, but also the essence of community, inclusivity, and sportsmanship.

The KOF Executives, led by Executive Director, Comrade Kerry Okoh, extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended and played a part in making the Charity Cup lively and dynamic. Your involvement, encouragement, and excitement transformed the matches into a celebration of purpose and togetherness.

We also wish to sincerely thank the participating schools, players, coaches, match officials, volunteers, and supporters, as your dedication and discipline were key to the competition's success. Each team exhibited bravery, collaboration, and respect, underscoring the potential of sports as a means of fostering unity and inspiration.

Moreover, we are profoundly grateful to the leadership of the Nigeria Deaf Sports Federation, including Alhaji Dagbo Suleiman Saka, National President; Alhaji Lukman Agbabiaka, National Secretary; and Mr. Issa Ahmadu Usman, Chairman of the Lagos State Deaf Association, for their support, insight, and essential contributions to the event's success.
