Friends Of Ninovan

Friends Of Ninovan We’re a group of friends on a mission to support the rescue horses of Associação Ninovan.

Through creativity, community, and a love for animals, we organize fun, themed parties to raise funds that help feed, house, and care for these incredible animals.

One of the special moments of our festival was when Marlene Lemos gathered people up to do a spontaneous chamarritas, lead by Paulo Amaral, the mandador of chamarritas! It was totally unexpected and a delightful expression of what community is…I didn’t count how many countries were represented there, at that moment, but it was quite a few! Thank you Marlene and Paulo! 🤗❤️

Today I would like to thank our wonderful musicians, who totally made the day! Firstly we had our festival minstrel, Les Greenhill, wandering and playing for groups around the site, followed by Faial’s wonderful Nuno Carneiro, then the fantastic Island Bandits took the stage, taking us back in time with some popular old favourites. To round off the evening the delectable Angie Reed, aka DJ Miss Take played us some great tunes to keep the dancing going!

🎵🎶🎼 From laid-back acoustic moments to live bands and a dance-worthy finish, we've put together a lineup we can't wait to share with you.

🎸 Throughout the afternoon, Keep an ear out for talented local musicians who may pop up around the festival grounds, sharing their music in true community spirit.

🎻 Les Greenhill will be wandering the festival as our minstrel, adding a little magic to the day before the main stage comes alive.

🎤 18h ~ Faial’s very own, Nuno Franco Carneiro takes the stage.

🎸 19h ~ The Island Bandits bring the energy as our headline act.

🎧 Around 20h30 ~ DJ MISS TAKE keeps the good vibes flowing until we say goodnight.

Whether you're coming to dance, relax, discover new music, or simply soak up the atmosphere, we can't wait to celebrate with you.
