ضمن فعاليات اليوم العالمي للمرأة، قضى فريق الحماية في منظمة كير فلسطين يوماً مميزاً مع العائلات النازحة في أحد مخيمات النزوح وسط غزة.
ومن خلال لحظات بسيطة جمعتهم حول الموسيقى والطعام والأنشطة، اجتمعت العائلات للاحتفاء بالهوية والتراث والأمل - في تذكير بأن حتى في ظل النزوح، تبقى لحظات الفرح الصغيرة قادرة على إحداث فرق حقيقي.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, CARE’s Protection Team spent a meaningful day with displaced families in one of the IDP camps in Middle Gaza.
Through shared moments of music, food, and connection, families came together to celebrate identity, heritage, and hope - reminding us that even in displacement, small moments of joy can make a lasting difference.

في ظل الدمار الواسع في شمال غزة، لا يزال الوصول إلى المياه الآمنة وخدمات الصرف الصحي تحديًا يوميًا.
بدعم من EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid، تعمل منظمة كير و الإغاثة الزراعية الفلسطينية PARCعلى إعادة تأهيل البنية التحتية المتضررة، وتحسين إدارة النفايات، وتقديم مستلزمات النظافة الأساسية، للمساهمة في التخفيف من معاناة الأسر المتضررة وتحسين صحتهم وتوفير ظروف معيشية أكثر أمانًا.

Amid widespread destruction in northern Gaza, access to safe water and sanitation remains a daily struggle.
With support from the EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid, CARE and الإغاثة الزراعية الفلسطينية PARC are working to rehabilitate critical infrastructure, improve waste management, and support communities with essential hygiene supplies - helping restore dignity, health, and safer living conditions for affected families.

بعد أكثر من عامين على استمرار الأزمة في قطاع غزة منذ أكتوبر 2023، ما يزال توفير المياه النظيفة والآمنة من أهم الأولويات، وذلك في ظل الدمار الكبير الذي لحق بأنظمة المياه والصرف الصحي، وحرمان معظم السكان من الوصول المنتظم إلى مياه آمنة.
بدعم من EEU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid تعمل منظمة كير بالشراكة مع االإغاثة الزراعية الفلسطينية PARCعلى توفير المياه النظيفة، وتشغيل وحدات التحلية، وتحسين خدمات الصرف الصحي، للمساهمة في استعادة الوصول إلى المياه الآمنة، ودعم المجتمعات المتضررة في مواجهة الظروف الصعبة والتعافي.

Providing clean and safe water in Gaza remains one of the most urgent priorities, as over two years of conflict since October 2023 have devastated water and sanitation systems, leaving the vast majority of people without reliable access to safe water.

With the support of the EEU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid CARE, together with االإغاثة الزراعية الفلسطينية PARC is delivering clean water, operating desalination units, and improving sanitation services to help restore access to safe water for communities struggling to survive and recover.

تعلن منظمة كير فلسطين بالشراكة مع منتدى سيدات الأعمال عن فتح باب التقديم لمشروع "وتد" لدعم المشاريع النسوية في محافظتي جنين وطولكرم.
يهدف المشروع إلى دعم استمرارية وإعادة تشغيل المشاريع المملوكة أو المُدارة من قبل النساء والمتأثرة بالأحداث الأخيرة، من خلال تقديم حزمة دعم متكاملة تشمل:
✔️ تدريبات متخصصة في إدارة وتطوير المشاريع، خاصة في ظل الأزمات
✔️ منح عينية (معدات أو مستلزمات تشغيل) بناءً على احتياج المشروع
✔️ إرشاد ومتابعة فنية لتعزيز استقرار واستدامة المشروع

CARE Palestine Announces Call for Applications – WATAD Project

CARE Palestine, in partnership with the Business Women Forum- Palestine is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the WATAD Project – “Empowering Women-Owned Businesses in the West Bank and Gaza.” The project provides integrated economic support to women-owned or women-managed businesses in the governorates of Jenin and Tulkarem.
The project aims to support the stability and continuity of women-led businesses affected by recent events, contribute to their recovery and reactivation, and strengthen their economic empowerment, helping improve household income and enhance economic resilience under the current circumstances.

Selected businesses will benefit from:
✔️ Specialized practical trainings on business management, particularly in crisis contexts
✔️ In-kind grants based on business needs assessments
✔️ Technical mentoring and follow-up throughout the implementation period

Eligibility criteria include:
• Women aged 18 years or older
• Owners or managers of businesses located in Jenin or Tulkarem
• Existing businesses, or businesses partially or fully stopped or damaged due to recent events

Since October 2023, CARE and partners have reached nearly 400,000 people in Gaza - 79% of whom are women and children - with lifesaving healthcare services, including maternal and reproductive health services, medical lab testing, immunizations, prescriptions and more.

كان لدى جمعية الإغاثة الطبية الفلسطينية The Palestinian Medical Relief Society مركزين طبيين حيويين، مركز تلّ الهوى ومركز السامر الطبي، وقد تم تدميرهما جراء غارات جوية إسرائيلية قبل نحو شهر من الإعلان عن وقف إطلاق النار في تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2025.

"إن استهداف هذين المركزين شكّل خسارة كبيرة لنا. وبعد الإعلان عن وقف إطلاق النار، نعمل حالياً على التخطيط لإعادة بناء وتأهيل العيادات التي اضطررنا إلى إخلائها سابقاً أو التي تضررت جزئياً في مدينة غزة، مع الاستمرار في تقديم الخدمات الصحية المنقذة للحياة عبر 12 نقطة طبية وعيادتين متنقلتين في دير البلح وخان يونس، لخدمة الأشخاص المهجّرين قسراً الذين فقدوا كل شيء." - بهية عمرة، مديرة دائرة العلاقات الخارجية والمشاريع في جمعية الإغاثة الطبية الفلسطينية

تواصل منظمة كير دعم شركائها الفلسطينيين في جهودهم لاستعادة الخدمات الصحية الأساسية لمجتمعاتهم، بما في ذلك خدمات صحة الأمومة والصحة الإنجابية.

The Palestinian Medical Relief Society had two main vital health centers, Tal Al-Hawa Center and Al-Samer Medical Center. Both were destroyed by Israeli airstrikes about a month before the ceasefire was announced in October 2025.

"The targeting of those two centers was a huge loss to us. Following the ceasefire announcement we are now planning to rebuild and rehabilitate clinics we were forced to previously evacuate or were partially destroyed in Gaza City while continuing to provide lifesaving health services across 12 medical points and two mobile clinics in Deir Al-Balah and Khan Younis to forcibly displaced people who lost everything." - Bahia Amra, Director of External Relations and Projects Department at the Palestinian Medical Relief Society .

CARE continues to support its Palestinian partners in their efforts to restore critical healthcare services, including maternal and reproductive health, to their communities.

تأمين المياه النظيفة والآمنة ما يزال تحديًا ملحًّا في غزة، وهو من أولويات منظمة كير في استجابتنا الإنسانية. بدعم من EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid، تعمل منظمة كير بالشراكة مع الإغاثة الزراعية الفلسطينية PARC على إعادة تأهيل محطة تحلية المياه في مجمع الشفاء الطبي بمدينة غزة، مما يساهم في استعادة وصول المياه لما يقارب 80,000 شخص في المنطقة، ويمنحهم فرصة لبدء إعادة البناء واستعادة أبسط حقوقهم الأساسية بعد عامين من الدمار المتواصل.

Providing clean and safe water to communities in Gaza remains one of the most pressing priorities for CARE. With the support of EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid, CARE and الإغاثة الزراعية الفلسطينية PARC aim to restore a desalination water plant at Al-Shifa medical complex in Gaza City to help restore water access to approximately 80,000 people in the area who are desperate to rebuild and recover from two years of constant destruction.

بعد مرور شهرين على ، وبدعم من جهات مانحة مثل EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid، تعمل منظمة كير بالشراكة مع الإغاثة الزراعية الفلسطينية PARC على مساعدة المجتمعات في العودة إلى مدينة غزة من خلال إعادة تأهيل مصادر المياه وتحسين الوصول إلى المياه النظيفة.
هذا البئر الذي جرى تأهيله سابقًا في حي الشيخ رضوان نجا بأعجوبة من الدمار الواسع الذي شهدته مدينة غزة خلال الهجوم الإسرائيلي في سبتمبر. وبمجرد عودته للعمل سيزوّد نحو 30,000 شخص ممّن تأثروا بالعنف والدمار، بالمياه النظيفة والصالحة للشرب.

Two months after the and with the support of donors like EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid, CARE with الإغاثة الزراعية الفلسطينية PARC are helping communities return to Gaza City by restoring access to clean water.
This previously rehabilitated water well in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood luckily survived the widespread destruction Gaza City witnessed as part of Israel’s offensive in September. Once up and running again it will serve 30,000 people impacted by the
violence and destruction.
