🚨بعد الإفراج عن أحد المسعفين يوم أمس، لا يزال مسعف من طواقم جمعية الهلال الأحمر الفلسطيني رهن الإخفاء القسري، بعد أن أقدمت ميليشيات مسلحة على احتجاز أفراد من طواقم الإسعاف أثناء توجههم لأداء مهامهم الإنسانية على شارع صلاح الدين جنوب قطاع غزة، "بحسب البيان الصادر عن الجمعية".
وفي كلمته، طالب رئيس جمعية الهلال الأحمر الفلسطيني د.يونس الخطيب المجتمع الدولي، والأمم المتحدة، واللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر، ومؤسسات حقوق الإنسان، بالتدخل العاجل للكشف عن مصير المسعف الذي لا يزال مخفياً قسراً، وضمان الإفراج عنه، وتوفير الحماية للطواقم الطبية والإسعافية أثناء تأدية واجبها الإنساني.
المسعفون يؤدون مهمة إنسانية هدفها إنقاذ الأرواح، والقانون الدولي الإنساني يكفل حمايتهم في جميع الأوقات.
حتى هذه اللحظة، لا تزال عائلته وزملاؤه ينتظرون معرفة مكان وجوده ومصيره.
🚨 Following the release of one of the detained medics yesterday, a Palestine Red Crescent Society medic remains forcibly disappeared after armed militias detained ambulance crews while they were on their way to carry out their humanitarian duties on Salah al-Din Road in southern Gaza, according to a statement issued by the Society.
In his remarks, Dr. Younis Al-Khatib, President of the Palestine Red Crescent Society, called on the international community, the United Nations, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and human rights organizations to take urgent action to determine the fate of the medic who remains forcibly disappeared, secure his release, and ensure protection for medical and ambulance personnel while carrying out their humanitarian work.
Medics carry out a humanitarian mission dedicated to saving lives, and international humanitarian law guarantees their protection at all times.
As of this moment, his family and colleagues continue to wait for answers about his whereabouts and fate. See less
