The Choir of London have created another wonderful Choral Festival in Palestine this summer. There are plenty of concerts to look forward to over the coming week. We'll be performing some Palestinian music later with local oud maker Ali Hasanin at his oud making workshop at the MCRC at 11. This afternoon we'll also have our last concert with our Danish band. They'll be playing at Dar Al Fanoon at Old Askar refugee camp at 5. Hope to see you there!

We’re really excited to have received 4 Danish musicians to work with us over the next two weeks. They’ll be participating with us in the inaugural Nablus Festival. They’ve already been collaborating with four young talented Palestinian musicians who will join them in their performances during the Nablus Festival. This is in advance of their participation at another festival in Denmark this summer called Ethno Denmark, which all eight musicians will be performing at.

In 2016, our local partner Project Hope will organise Nablus’s inaugural Cultural Festival. The festival will take place from April 25th to May 2nd, and will celebrate and showcase the best of local and international culture. It is hoped to host a wide range of international artists in the city over the course of the festival, and as such they’re currently entertaining proposals from artists who would like to perform in the city during the festival.
