Establishment of a Caravan as a Safe Space for Women in the Khan Al-Ahmar Community – East Jerusalem

As part of the efforts of ADWAR Association to strengthen community protection and support women, a caravan was established and equipped in the Khan Al-Ahmar community – East Jerusalem, to serve as a safe space for women, the Women’s Protection Committee, and community residents. The aim is to provide a safe and supportive environment for meetings and community activities, while enhancing the role of women in community protection and responding to their needs and the needs of the local community.

The caravan will also contribute to supporting and empowering women by providing them with a space that enables participation, self-expression, and the implementation of various initiatives and activities, in a way that strengthens community resilience in the area.

The establishment of this space comes within the framework of the project “The Complete House: Safe and Sustainable Living Spaces" in cooperation with Palestinian Family Planning and Protection Association and funded by United Nations Population Fund.

إنشاء كرفان كمساحة آمنة للنساء في تجمع الخان الأحمر – شرق القدس
ضمن جهود مؤسسة ادوار للتغيير الاجتماعي في تعزيز الحماية المجتمعية ودعم النساء تم إنشاء وتجهيز كرفان في تجمع الخان الأحمر – شرق القدس ليكون مساحة آمنة للنساء ولجنة الحماية النسوية وسكان المنطقة, بهدف توفير بيئة آمنة وداعمة لعقد اللقاءات والأنشطة المجتمعية وتعزيز دور النساء في الحماية المجتمعية والاستجابة لاحتياجاتهن واحتياجات المجتمع المحلي.
كما سيساهم الكرفان في دعم النساء وتمكينهن من الوصول إلى مساحة تتيح لهن المشاركة، التعبير، وتنفيذ المبادرات والأنشطة المختلفة بما يعزز الصمود المجتمعي في المنطقة.
ويأتي إنشاء هذه المساحة ضمن مشروع "المساحة المتكاملة: بيئة آمنة ومتكاملة"، بالتعاون مع تنظيم الأسرة وبتمويل من صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان (UNFPA).

ADWAR Association distributes dignity kits in Al-Tuwani / Masafer Yatta

ADWAR Association distributed dignity kits in the Al-Tuwani / Masafer Yatta area as part of the project "The Complete House: Safe and Sustainable Living Spaces" in partnership with Palestinian Family Planning and Protection Association and funded by the United Nations Population Fund.

This activity comes within the framework of strengthening the humanitarian response and supporting women and the most vulnerable groups by providing essential hygiene supplies and alleviating the challenges women face under the current circumstances.

مؤسسة أدوار للتغيير الاجتماعي توزع طرود صحية في التوانة/ مسافر يطا
مؤسسة أدوار توزع الطرود الصحية في منطقة التوانة/مسافر يطا، وذلك ضمن مشروع "المساحة المتكاملة: بيئة آمنة ومستدامة"، بالشراكة مع تنظيم الأسرة وبتمويل من صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان (UNFPA).

ويأتي هذا النشاط في إطار تعزيز الاستجابة الإنسانية ودعم النساء والفئات الأكثر احتياجًا من خلال توفير المستلزمات الصحية الأساسية والتخفيف من التحديات التي تواجهها النساء في ظل الظروف الراهنة.

ADWAR Association Conducts an Awareness Session on the National Referral System in Khan al-Ahmar / East Jerusalem

ADWAR Association conducted an awareness session on the National Referral System in Khan al-Ahmar, East Jerusalem, with the participation of a number of women and young women. The session aimed to enhance awareness of the available services and safe access mechanisms, particularly in issues related to protection, psychosocial support, health, and rights.

The session addressed the importance of the National Referral System as a tool that ensures women and the most vulnerable groups can access appropriate services confidentially, respectfully, and with dignity. It also highlighted the role of various institutions in providing support and responding to cases in accordance with principles of protection and non-discrimination.

In addition, the session provided a space for dialogue and the exchange of questions and experiences, which contributed to strengthening the participants’ sense of safety and awareness of their rights and the services available to them. Hygiene kits were also distributed to women and young women during the session.

This session comes as part of the "The Complete House: Safe and Sustainable Living Spaces" project, implemented in cooperation with Palestinian Family Planning and Protection Association and funded by the United Nations Population Fund

مؤسسة أدوار تنفذ لقاء توعوي حول نظام التحويل الوطني في الخان الأحمر/ شرق القدس

نفّذت مؤسسة أدوار لقاءً توعوياً حول نظام التحويل الوطني في الخان الأحمر في شرق القدس، بمشاركة عدد من النساء والشابات، بهدف تعزيز الوعي بالخدمات المتاحة وآليات الوصول الآمن إليها، خاصة في قضايا الحماية والدعم النفسي والاجتماعي والصحة والحقوق.
تناول اللقاء أهمية نظام التحويل الوطني كأداة تضمن وصول النساء والفئات الأكثر هشاشة إلى الخدمات المناسبة بسرية واحترام وكرامة، مع توضيح دور المؤسسات المختلفة في تقديم الدعم والاستجابة للحالات وفق مبادئ الحماية وعدم التمييز. كما فتح اللقاء مساحة للحوار وتبادل الأسئلة والتجارب، مما ساهم في تعزيز شعور المشاركات بالأمان والمعرفة بحقوقهن والخدمات المتوفرة لهن. وتخلل اللقاء توزيع طرود صحية على النساء والشابات.
حيث يأتي هذا اللقاء ضمن مشروع المساحة المتكاملة: بيئة آمنة ومتكاملة، بالتعاون مع تنظيم الأسرة وبتمويل من صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان (UNFPA).

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance community awareness and support psychosocial well-being, ADWAR Association, in cooperation with Palestinian Family Planning and Protection Association, is implementing a series of awareness sessions on self-care, holistic health, and stress and tension management.
These sessions aim to strengthen the ability of women and young women to care for their mental and physical health, while raising awareness about the importance of self-care as a key tool for maintaining psychological and social well-being, especially in light of increasing daily challenges and difficult circumstances.
The sessions also highlight the importance of adopting healthy coping strategies for dealing with stress and pressure, contributing to the creation of a safer, more supportive, and empowering environment for the community.
This initiative comes as part of "The Complete House: Safe and Sustainable Living Spaces" project, funded by the United Nations Population Fund.

ضمن جهود تعزيز الوعي المجتمعي ودعم الصحة النفسية والاجتماعية، مؤسسة أدوار بالتعاون مع جمعية تنظيم وحماية الأسرة تنفذ سلسلة من اللقاءات التوعوية حول الرعاية الذاتية، والصحة الشمولية، وإدارة الضغط والتوتر، حيث تهدف هذه اللقاءات إلى تعزيز قدرة النساء والشابات على الاهتمام بصحتهن النفسية والجسدية، ورفع الوعي بأهمية الرعاية الذاتية كأداة أساسية للحفاظ على التوازن النفسي والاجتماعي، خاصة في ظل الظروف والتحديات اليومية المتزايدة.
كما تسلط الضوء على أهمية تبني أساليب صحية للتعامل مع الضغوط والتوتر، بما يسهم في بناء بيئة أكثر أمانًا ودعمًا وتمكينًا للمجتمع.
