🌱 مشروع الحديقة المنزلية – تعزيز سبل العيش من خلال الزراعة الحضرية المصغّرة

تعلن الجمعية الزراعية التنموية بالشراكة مع مؤسسة ميرسي كور وبتمويل من الصندوق الإنساني للأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة عن فتح باب التسجيل للاستفادة من مشروع الحديقة المنزلية – تعزيز سبل العيش من خلال الزراعة الحضرية المصغّرة، وذلك من خلال مساعدة نقدية مقيّدة لتوفير المدخلات والأدوات الزراعية اللازمة.

🎯 يهدف المشروع إلى دعم الأسر الأكثر ضعفًا في الوصول إلى الغذاء والتغذية الأساسية، في ظل تدهور الأمن الغذائي الناتج عن النزاع المستمر واضطرابات الأسواق ونقص توفر المنتجات الطازجة.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 الفئات المستهدفة:
الأسر المتأثرة بالنزاع والتي تعاني من انعدام حاد في الأمن الغذائي في محافظتي دير البلح وخانيونس، والتي تتوفر لديها:
✔️ مساحة أرضية محدودة وملاصقة للمسكن أو الخيمة
✔️ الحد الأدنى من توفر المياه
✔️ إمكانية الوصول الإنساني

📋 آلية الاختيار:
سيتم اختيار المستفيدين بعد زيارات ميدانية من فريق مختص وفقًا لمعايير المشروع، ومن أهمها:
✔️ أرض صالحة للزراعة وملاصقة للمسكن
✔️ توفر مصدر مياه
✔️ أن تكون الأسرة من محدودي الدخل

🎓 سيحصل المستفيدون على التدريب والإرشاد والمتابعة لضمان إنشاء حديقة منزلية منتجة، مع التأكيد أن الالتزام بالتدريب والمتابعة إلزامي.

🌱 Home Garden Project – Enhancing Livelihoods through Micro Urban Agriculture

The Developmental Agricultural Association, in partnership with Mercy Corps and funded by the Humanitarian Fund for the occupied Palestinian territory, announces the opening of registration for beneficiaries of the Home Garden Project – Enhancing Livelihoods through Micro Urban Agriculture, through restricted cash assistance to provide essential agricultural inputs and tools.

🎯 The project aims to support the most vulnerable households facing limited access to food and basic nutrition amid worsening food insecurity caused by ongoing conflict, market disruptions, and shortages of fresh produce.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Targeted Beneficiaries:
Conflict-affected households experiencing severe food insecurity in Deir Al-Balah and Khan Younis, with:
✔️ Small land spaces adjacent to homes or tents
✔️ Minimum water availability
✔️ Humanitarian access feasibility

📋 Selection Process:
Beneficiaries will be selected based on project criteria following field assessments conducted by specialized agricultural engineers and social researchers, including:
✔️ Small cultivable land adjacent to the residence
✔️ Availability of a water source
✔️ Low-income household status

🎓 Selected households will receive training, technical guidance, and follow-up support to ensure successful establishment of productive home gardens. Attendance at training and follow-up sessions is mandatory.

The Developmental Agricultural Association participated in the Youth Environmental Fair, organized by Future Youth Rescue Association in partnership with Save the Children International.

🌿 Nursery of Hope – Promoting Agricultural Sustainability
Through the "Nursery of Hope" project, the association works on providing seedlings to farmers, supporting the resilience of agricultural lands affected by the aggression in Gaza, and encouraging youth innovation in agriculture… because every small plant carries hope for growth and life.

🎨 Embroidery and Creative Arts
The fair also featured handmade embroidery and creative arts booths reflecting Palestinian heritage and the spirit of youth creativity.

💚 The association’s participation is part of its ongoing efforts to support Palestinian youth, promote green initiatives, contribute to the resilience of the agricultural sector, and spread a culture of creativity and sustainability.

ضمن مشروع "تعزيز سبل العيش للأسر من خلال الزراعة المنزلية"، وبالشراكة مع مؤسسة ميرسي كور الدولية (Mercy Corps)، قامت الجمعية الزراعية التنموية بتوزيع مستلزمات الزراعة المنزلية على الأسر المستفيدة، دعمًا للأمن الغذائي وتعزيزًا لقدرتها على الاعتماد على ذاتها.

يأتي هذا التدخل في إطار تمكين الأسر ذات الدخل المحدود من إنشاء مشاريع زراعية منزلية صغيرة تسهم في توفير الغذاء، وتقليل الاعتماد على المساعدات، وتعزيز الصمود في ظل الظروف الراهنة.

🌱 Strengthening Livelihoods Starts at Home Gardens

As part of the project “Strengthening Household Livelihoods through Home Gardening”, and in partnership with Mercy Corps, the Agricultural Development Association distributed home gardening supplies to beneficiary families, supporting food security and enhancing self-reliance.

This intervention empowers low-income households to establish small home gardening initiatives that contribute to food availability, reduce dependency on aid, and strengthen resilience through sustainable approaches.

Provide guidance and technical support to project farmers.

Monitor home gardening of various crops and ensure best agricultural practices are applied.

Supervise crop production, monitor plant health, and manage soil and water.

Participate in preparing agricultural work plans and follow up on their implementation according to the project timeline.

Prepare periodic reports on plant production activities, challenges, and technical improvement suggestions.

Ensure compliance with quality standards and environmental safety in agricultural activities.
