The last few days have been very busy for the Al Err family. got married to his fiancee Dalia, and got married to his fiancée Tala the next day. We just had two weddings in a row, and the night before Sa’eds wedding we did a big traditional celebration for both grooms, with a Bedouin music band and everything.

In Arabic, weddings are often called الفرح which simply translates to “the joy”. Our family hadn’t celebrated or experienced joy for a very long time. But of course, the joy is mixed with sadness.

Medical updates from Sulala Medical Point - Tuesday, June 9, 2026:
​21 cases received: We welcomed 15 cats, 3 puppies, and 3 adult dogs into the clinic for checkups and treatment.
​Diagnosis and treatment: Most of the cats were suffering from skin fungus, fleas, gastroenteritis, and threadworms, except for one cat diagnosed with jaundice (hepatitis) and another with an umbilical hernia. As for the dogs and puppies, their main issues were fleas, roundworms, and intestinal worms.
​All animals received their full doses and proper treatments to comfort them and ease their pain.

The way this little boy cares for his dog is beautiful. He proves that love and responsibility have no age limit.
​Remember the boy Saeed met by the beach, trying to treat his dog? Today, he visited us at Sulala shelter to continue his dog's treatment for mange.
​The dog is doing much better, and we will keep supporting him until his dog is completely recovered.

هذا الطفل الصغير متمسك بكلبه بشكل يلمس القلب، وفعلاً يثبت أن الوفاء والمسؤولية ليس لهما علاقة بالعمر.
​تذكرون الطفل الذي التقى به سعيد على البحر وكان يحاول علاج كلبه؟ اليوم زارنا في ملجأ سلالة لكي يكمل جرعات العلاج الخاصة بكلبه المصاب بالجرب.
​الكلب في تحسن واضح، ونحن سنبقى نتابع معه خطوة بخطوة حتى يشفى تماماً ويرجع بصحة جيدة.

A small step, but it means the world for their safety.. ✨
Today, we moved 8 puppies to a much safer place. As they grew bigger, they started moving around the area a lot. To keep them safe from harm and prevent them from getting lost or separated, we coordinated with our friend Alaa—who had been caring for them and built a beautiful bond with them. They've been moved so they can stay together safely. Huge thanks to Alaa for her constant care and dedication. 🙏🐾

اليوم قمنا بنقل ٨ جراء إلى مكان أكثر أماناً. الجراء كبرت وبدأت تتحرك كثيراً في المنطقة، وحرصاً عليها من الأذى أو الضياع والتفرق، اتفقنا مع صديقتنا آلاء —التي كانت تتولى رعايتها وبنت معها صداقة جميلة— وتم نقلها لتظل معاً في أمان. شكراً لآلاء على اهتمامها وحرصها الدائم. 🙏🐾

5 newborn kittens suddenly abandoned outside the shelter!
​Today, two young men brought 5 newborn kittens to the shelter, claiming their mother was nowhere to be found near their home. We asked them to return the kittens to their spot and contact us as soon as the mother showed up. Unfortunately, right after leaving the clinic, they just dumped the kittens near the shelter and ran away.
​Sadly, this is a recurring behavior by some people who keep cats and then abandon them in such difficult circumstances.
​Currently, we have placed the 5 kittens with a nursing cat at our shelter, and we will also help bottle-feed them with formula.
​Request for assistance: If anyone has a nursing cat (with fewer than 6 kittens), please contact us to take in some of these newborns to ease the burden on our shelter's mother cat. We promise to take them back once they are weaned. 🙏🐾

تخلّي مفاجئ عن 5 قطط مواليد أمام باب الملجأ!
​اليوم أحضر شابّان 5 قطط حديثة الولادة إلى الملجأ، وأخبرونا أن أمهم غير موجودة في مكان سكنهم. طلبنا منهم إعادتهم إلى مكانهم والتواصل معنا فور ظهور الأم، لكن للأسف، بمجرد خروجهم من النقطة الطبية قاموا بترك القطط قرب الملجأ وهربوا.
​هذا التصرف يتكرر للأسف من البعض؛ يربّون القطط ثم يتخلون عنها في ظروف صعبة.
​حالياً، قمنا بدمج القطط الـ 5 مع قطة مُرضعة لدينا في الملجأ، وسنساعد في إرضاعهم بالحليب الصناعي أيضاً.
​طلب ومساعدة: نرجو من أي شخص لديه قطة مُرضعة (لديها أقل من 6 صغار) أن يتواصل معنا لاستقبال بعض هذه المواليد لتخفيف العبء عن القطة الأم لدينا، ونلتزم باسترجاع القطط فور الفطام. 🙏🐾

Another rescue that reminds us why our work for these souls matters.
​The Story:
A local citizen rescued a stray cat from the Deir al-Balah area and brought her to our medical point. After examining her, we found she was suffering from mange and immediately gave her the right treatment. She is now under our medical care until she fully recovers.

حالة جديدة صعبة تذكرنا دائماً بأهمية وجودنا بجانب هذه الأرواح.
​القصة:
أنقذ أحد المواطنين قطة من الشارع في منطقة الدير، وأحضرها إلى نقطتنا الطبية. بعد الفحص، وجدنا أنها تعاني من مرض الجرب، وقدمنا لها العلاج المناسب فوراً. القطة الآن تحت رعايتنا الطبية المستمرة حتى تتعافى تماماً.
