๐Ÿ›‘ Extremist Israeli colonial settlers stormed the playground of Khirbet Umm al-Kheir in Masafer Yatta, a village whose field is under threat of demolition, and prevented Palestinian children from playing football.

The extremist settlers sat in front of them chanting in Hebrew in an attempt to provoke and intimidate them, while the children sat silently, watching helplessly.

The violence that plagues Bedouin communities in the West Bank is ceaseless. What makes its way to the news is a minuscule fraction of the violence that is actually experience. The lives of the communities far more complex than we can convey on social media.

Here is every reported incident by our practitioners over the course of the week to share with you all. In doing so, we want to convey that the disposition of Palestinians does not only happen through acts of extreme violence, but by enacting a constant stream of pressure with the intent of eroding the spirit. This is why solidarity presence is important. If we donโ€™t have the power to hold perpetrators accountable, we must take it upon ourselves to stand in solidarity with the oppressed.

They tried to tell our story without us.
So we told it ourselves.

This article sheds light on the reality we live every dayโ€”and the work we are doing through UCPiP- Palestine to stand between violence and our communities.

This is not theory. This is lived experience. This is resistance through protection, presence, and nonviolence.

On May 2nd, Settlers went on a tirade in the Jordan Valley, terrorising everyone in site. Assault, theft, and intimidation happened with impunity, in Area A. The car was one of several stolen recently. The settlers also went to another house in order to steal, but its residents already fled and took their property with them under duress.

End Israeli impunity. End collective punishment. End Apartheid.

โ€œEnough is enoughโ€ isnโ€™t a slogan โ€” itโ€™s a reality people are risking their lives to say.

At the .coalition in Tel Aviv, voices came together across lines, but from the West Bank, we brought the truth:
settler violence is not random. It is systematic, escalating, and carried out with total impunity.

Entire communities are being attacked, displaced, and erased in real time.

And still, people choose nonviolence.

At UCPiP, we stand in that space:
physically present, documenting, accompanying, intervening, putting our bodies between violence and those targeted by it.

This isnโ€™t theory.
This is protection.
This is resistance.

And itโ€™s time the world stopped looking away.

A testimony that speaks to the banality of settler/state violence in Fasail, Palestine. Houses destroyed. People harnessed and displaced. Cruelty is the point.

On April 15th, 40 democrats in the US voted against sending bulldozers to the US. This growing opposition is late and not enough, but a sign nonetheless that these tides are turning.

We will continue to stand with communities on the ground, and need you all to keep putting pressure on your prospective governments.

Every day, Palestinian families in vulnerable rural communities face harassment, attacks, and the risk of being forced from their land.

Unarmed Civilian Protection in Palestine teams stand with them.
Through protective presence, monitoring, and documentation, trained civilian protectors help deter violence and ensure that communities are not left alone in the face of intimidation.

Your support helps keep protectors in the field, accompanying shepherds, documenting violations, and supporting communities struggling to remain on their land. Communities like Ras al-Auja, where families fear they may be the next to be displaced.

This work is only possible because of people like you.

Please support civilian protection in Palestine.
