Past Exalted Ruler Spotlight:
Under the leadership of Past Exalted Ruler Roberto De León, Elks Lodge 972 carried out meaningful service for the community. Highlights include delivering shoes, diapers, and personal hygiene items to Casa Cuna San Juan; presenting a heartfelt check to Hogar del Niño el Ave María in Bayamón; and organizing a morale-boosting bingo for veterans at the VA Hospital in Centro Médico, Río Piedras. This dedication forms the backbone of Elks Lodge 972 and stands as a testament to our commitment across leadership. 🫎🇵🇷🫡❤️

Strong families build strong communities, which build a strong country. Start today support a local program that you identify with, mentor a youth, or volunteer at the lodge. Beacuse when you care about the future, you help build it by the knowledge you share.🇺🇸🎆🫎

Junio fue un mes lleno de actividades y servicio para nuestra Logia, pero una de las experiencias que más nos marcó fue la de tres de nuestros integrantes y su participación en el campamento auspiciado por ANSCA, celebrado en el Parque Luis Muñoz Marín.

Durante esta jornada ellos unimos esfuerzos para llevar dos importantes iniciativas: Drug Awareness y una charla educativa sobre deportes, estudios y superación personal, brindando a los jóvenes herramientas para construir un mejor futuro.

Como parte del compromiso con la comunidad, nuestros miembros realizaron la entrega de 42 pares de zapatos para los niños participantes, aportando un granito de arena para apoyar su desarrollo.

Agradecemos a todos los voluntarios, colaboradores y organizaciones que hicieron posible esta actividad. Continuaremos trabajando con dedicación para servir, educar e impactar positivamente a nuestra comunidad.🌺🇵🇷

Following the ceremony, we had the opportunity to spend time with our distinguished guests and fellow Lodge members, sharing meaningful conversations and strengthening the bonds that unite our Elks family.

As we look toward the future, we remain dedicated to advancing the mission of our Lodge and building a stronger future for Puerto Rico while honoring the 120-year legacy that has shaped who we are today. We take great pride in what we have achieved together and remain inspired by the opportunities that lie ahead as we continue to serve our communities and uphold the values that define our organization. 🇵🇷🫎🌺

Today, Elks Lodge 972 had the honor of celebrating Flag Day , a ceremony that carried deep meaning and emotion.

As we reflected on the history of the nation’s flag, we were reminded of the countless brave men and women who, throughout the years, dedicated their lives in service to something greater than themselves. Their sacrifices helped preserve freedoms and opportunities that future generations continue to enjoy. Freedom is often easiest to appreciate when we pause long enough to remember the price that was paid for it.

This year’s ceremony was especially meaningful as we witnessed the dedication, leadership, and commitment of our Exalted Ruler Wilfredo and senior members Flor and Roberto, whose guidance helped steer our Lodge in a successful direction. Their efforts continue to strengthen our traditions while inspiring those who will carry them forward.

This Memorial Day, our dedicated Elks Lodge members took meaningful action to honor our fallen military heroes. Together, they divided into teams and visited multiple cemeteries across Puerto Rico, ensuring that each resting place was respectfully acknowledged. The sacrifice of our brave men and women will never be forgotten, and we are proud to uphold their memory.
