🚨 Condiciones peligrosas por lluvias
Durante el día de hoy y hasta mediados de la semana se esperan condiciones favorables para inundaciones, debido a episodios de lluvia persistente e intensa. Estas lluvias podrían provocar acumulación de agua en áreas urbanas, crecidas rápidas en cuerpos de agua pequeños y derrumbes aislados. Se recomienda a la ciudadanía y a quienes nos visitan extremar precauciones, mantenerse alertas y alejarse de zonas vulnerables como ríos, quebradas y áreas bajas.
Islas Vírgenes: A partir de hoy aumentarán los aguaceros, con el periodo más activo previsto entre esta noche y el martes.
A heightened risk for flooding is expected today and will persist into the middle of the week. Episodes of steady to intense rainfall could lead to water buildup in cities, rapid rises in small waterways, isolated flash floods, and minor slope failures. Residents and visitors are urged to stay aware of changing conditions and keep away from rivers, streams, and other areas susceptible to flooding.
In the U.S. Virgin Islands, rain showers will become more frequent today, with the greatest chance for heavy rainfall occurring from tonight through Tuesday.
