Message of Appreciation

We wish to express our most sincere gratitude to all the volunteers who came together today to participate in the wreath removal at Bayamón National Cemetery.

A very special recognition goes to the students of Antilles High School, members of the NHS and JROTC programs, as well as their families, who through their presence, effort, and commitment demonstrated profound respect for our service members who rest in this sacred ground. Today, these young men and women set an admirable example of citizenship, honor, and gratitude.

In a very special way, we would like to thank Mrs. Maria Santiago, the teacher in charge of the NHS program, who with great dedication accompanied her students and actively promoted the values of leadership, service, and respect. Her commitment was essential to the success of this activity.

We also extend our appreciation to the veterans and family members who joined us to honor the memory of their loved ones. Their participation adds immeasurable value to this act of respect, remembrance, and reflection.

Thanks to the dedication of each and every one of you, we were able to successfully complete the annual Wreaths Across America mission, which not only involves placing wreaths, but also removing them with the same dignity, solemnity, and respect with which they were placed.

In a very special way, we extend our deepest thanks to Captain Misael Cortijo and his wife for their unconditional support and commitment in completing the full wreath removal at Morovis National Cemetery, ensuring that the mission was also successfully fulfilled at that sacred site.

We also thank the staff of Bayamón and Morovis National Cemeteries for their support, collaboration, and guidance throughout the entire process, as well as the Municipality of Bayamón for its support and commitment to this noble cause.

Thank you for Remembering, Honoring, and Teach

Here we share a few heartfelt moments from an unforgettable Wreaths Across America Day.

On Saturday, December 13, we placed 120 wreaths at Morovis National Cemetery, each one a symbol of remembrance, gratitude, and love for the men and women who answered the call to serve our Nation. We were deeply honored to have Lieutenant Colonel Sean K. Cook, U.S. Army Garrison Fort Buchanan Deputy Commander, as our Honor Guest Speaker.

For us, this day will forever remain in our hearts. We were the first ceremony to inaugurate the ceremonial plaza of this sacred ground, preceded by the first official raising of the cemetery’s flags—a solemn moment that filled us with pride, respect, and deep emotion.

Standing beside military families during this sacred moment was a privilege beyond words. Together, we shared silence, tears, gratitude, and an unbreakable commitment to never forget the sacrifices made for our freedom.

Our deepest thanks to all the organizations, volunteers, and families who gave their time, effort, and hearts on this National Wreaths Across America Day.
As long as we remember their names, our heroes will live on forever.
