Ufaq Gul , a distinguished social activist and Pakistan’s first Youth Peace Champion YPC Pakistan under the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) project, continues to play a vital role in promoting youth leadership, women empowerment, and peacebuilding at the national level.

Following the Peace Conference, we had the privilege of meeting with her to discuss key issues including women empowerment, youth engagement, and collaborative peace initiatives.

The meeting was attended by Mansab Ali (CEO, National Peace Foundation Balochistan) and Ghulam Fatima (Secretary General, National Peace Foundation Balochistan), who reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to strengthening joint efforts for youth development, women’s leadership, and sustainable peace in the region.

Several important members of the NPFB team were also present, making the discussion productive and impactful.

A two-day capacity-building workshop on “Peace Development” and “Digital Media Literacy” was successfully conducted in Usta Muhammad, Balochistan.

The workshop brought together enthusiastic youth participants who actively engaged in dynamic and open discussions. Participants were provided with a meaningful platform to express their perspectives, share experiences, and take part in various peace-building activities. The sessions encouraged critical thinking, dialogue, and awareness around peace and responsible use of digital media.

The workshop was organized by Youth Peace Champions (YPC), a youth-led peace-building initiative, with official sponsorship by National Peace Foundation Balochistan (NPFB).

This initiative was implemented with the support of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), whose contribution played a vital role in making this impactful activity possible.

The energy, commitment, and passion of the youth made these two days truly inspiring and laid strong foundations for a more peaceful and informed future.
