Cadet College Hasanabdal (CCH) welcomed the Progressive Climate Foundation (PCF) on 18th Sep 2026 as part of an initiative to explore meaningful avenues of collaboration in the areas of climate education, environmental sustainability, youth engagement and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The visit featured an engaging climate awareness session with students from the 72nd and 73rd Entries, alongside members of the Environment Society and Rotary Club. The session encouraged boys to reflect on contemporary environmental challenges and, more importantly, on the role of young people as responsible global citizens and agents of positive change.

Following the awareness session, the PCF representatives held a productive meeting with the CCH team to explore potential areas of institutional collaboration, including student engagement, environmental awareness initiatives, sustainability projects and future opportunities for youth-led climate action.

Through partnerships, purposeful learning and student-led action, CCH continues to strengthen its culture of Global Citizenship, Sustainability and Responsible Leadership.

𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍🎓

Our senior students had the opportunity to engage with the 𝐋𝐚𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 (𝐋𝐔𝐌𝐒) during an insightful university outreach session led by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐦 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤 on 18th Sep 2026.

The session provided our 𝟔𝟗𝐭𝐡 and 𝟕𝟎𝐭𝐡 Entries with valuable insights into LUMS’s academic programmes, extracurricular opportunities, admissions process, scholarships, and campus life. An engaging Q&A session followed, allowing our boys to explore their questions and gain a clearer understanding of the opportunities that await them in higher education.

We sincerely thank 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐦 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤 and the 𝐋𝐔𝐌𝐒 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 for connecting with our students and sharing valuable guidance. Such meaningful interactions broaden horizons, encourage ambition, and help our young learners make informed decisions about their academic futures.

𝐂𝐂𝐇 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 - 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐚, 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐳𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝🌍

We're proud to share that Ms. Faiza Maryam, Master in Global Perspectives, represented Cadet College Hasanabdal at the 𝐀𝐅𝐒 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 in Geneva - selected on scholarship from a highly competitive cohort of 𝟒𝟎 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞.

Her journey brought together a unique blend of virtual global learning and in-person international engagement: the AFS Global Competence Certificate (2–30 July, Virtual Exchange Program), the Global Educators Academy (9–12 Aug, Geneva), and the AFS Youth Assembly (12–14 Aug, Geneva).

At the heart of the experience was the development of real-world global competencies, including:

🗣️ Intercultural communication & cross-cultural understanding
🤝 Active listening, dialogue & perspective-taking
💡 Self-awareness, empathy & emotional intelligence
🌐 Collaboration across cultural and social differences
🧠 Critical thinking, open-mindedness & adaptability
🌎 Global citizenship & leadership for positive social impact

Ms. Faiza returns with more than new ideas, she brings a global network of educators, fresh international perspectives, and practical approaches that will strengthen global competence, student engagement and intercultural learning across CCH classrooms and our wider community.

Congratulations, Ms. Faiza Maryam, proud to have you represent CCH internationally.
