The Surgical Instruments Manufacturers Association of Pakistan was established in 1950 with an aim to protect and promote the art of surgical instruments manufacturing and to help solving the problems of surgical manufacturing community. Surgical Association has 5500 members firms more than 200,000 workers are grossly engaged in manufacturing of Surgical Instruments to meet the export commitments

in the International Market. The value of exports of surgical instruments for the financial year 2023-2024 is US $500 Million.

On 5 May 2026, the newly constructed Academic Block at Government Girls High School Talwara Mughlan was officially inaugurated by Mr. Faisal Akram, MPA, alongside Mr. Mubashir Wahid Chairman SIMAP Mr. Zeeshan Tariq Along with Vice Chairman Abdul Momen also graced the occasion.

This milestone underscores a collective commitment to enhancing educational infrastructure for girls. SIMAP remains steadfast in its mission to support womenโ€™s education, with its members playing a pivotal role in the funding and construction of this facility.
