From Training to the Classroom: IPAC Curriculum Reaches Punjab

The Lyceate School became the first school in Punjab to implement IPAC Curriculum.
The first lesson, “Germs” introduced 41 students to health and hygiene concepts through interactive storytelling, hands on activities, and engaging classroom experiences.

Previously implemented in schools across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the curriculum is now expanding to Punjab with the support of Pakistan Citizen Alliance (PCA).

Through its Train The Trainers approach, IPAC Foundation equips educators with the knowledge and tools to bring prevention-based health education into classrooms and reach more students.

The session covered common signs and symptoms, when to consult a doctor, the role of ultrasound, and the importance of follow up scans. Participants were also informed about the upcoming Ultrasound Camp and guided on how to prepare for an ultrasound.

The message was simple: know your health, understand PCOS, get checked on time, and seek treatment early.

Participants were encouraged to share this information with their sisters, friends, mothers, and daughters, because awareness can help more women take timely steps toward better health.

IPAC Foundation organized an awareness seminar on Kidney Health and Renal Function Tests (RFT) at Fatima Ghazi IPAC Community Health Centre, Toba Tek Singh.

The session focused on the importance of healthy kidneys, early detection of kidney diseases, and the role of Renal Function Tests in maintaining overall health.

Participants were educated about kidney functions, risk factors, and preventive measures, with special emphasis on individuals above 40 years of age. They were encouraged to monitor blood pressure and blood sugar, stay adequately hydrated, maintain a healthy diet, exercise regularly, and avoid unnecessary painkillers and self medication.
