The session covered key aspects including study resources, examination patterns, eligibility criteria, and the clinical communication skills essential for clinical assessments.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our esteemed session speakers, Dr. Hamza and Dr. Saad, for dedicating their valuable time to guide and mentor students with their insightful discussion and experience.

Progress Report Of YDA SMC Research Wing Under "YDA Research MentorShip Programme "

YDA SMC Research Wing, under the leadership of Zain, has provided mentorship to multiple students through the “YDA Research Mentorship Programme.”

One of the students who benefited from this programme stated:

«“We spent around 8 to 10 thousand rupees on different platforms, but we did not learn as much as we learned through this platform.”»

This reflects the dedication and sincerity behind the initiative and the positive impact it is creating among students.

YDA SMC Research Wing

The Young Doctors Association (YDA) Saidu Medical College Research Wing, under the leadership of Zain, successfully organized a webinar titled “Your First Publication: The Ultimate Workshop on Writing LTEs” on 25 April 2025.

The webinar featured Dr. Abdur Rehman as the guest speaker, who shared valuable insights and guidance regarding research writing and publication. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to research and his support for the SMC medical community, YDA SMC President Usman Khan Afridi, Chairman YDA SMC Tariq Jamil Wazir, Research Wing Head Zain, along with Research Wing members Adil Mohmand, Zia and Atif Asmat Marwat, presented a Guest Speaker Shield to Dr. Abdur Rehman.

YDA SMC has further announced its commitment to providing free-of-cost research mentorship to all students of Saidu Medical College.

YDA SMC also aims to actively promote and strengthen the culture of research within Saidu Medical College, empowering students with academic and scientific opportunities for their professional growth.

ساٸیڈو میڈیکل کالج کی انتظامیہ، جن میں ڈاکٹر اعزاز الرحمٰن، ڈاکٹر اکرام اللہ، ایس ایم نعیم، ڈاکٹر یاسر (فارما ڈیپارٹمنٹ)، ڈاکٹر امین اللہ، اور ان کے ساتھ سکیورٹی گارڈز، ڈرائیورز اور تھیٹر اٹینڈنٹس شامل تھے، نے SCD انتظامیہ کے ساتھ مل کر کالج کے املاک کو شدید نقصان پہنچایا، جیسا کہ ویڈیوز میں واضح طور پر دیکھا جا سکتا ہے۔

طلبہ نے SMC انتظامیہ، مریضوں، اور حتیٰ کہ اُن طلبہ کو بھی، جنہیں ایمرجنسی صورتحال درپیش تھی، کالج سے باہر منتقل کیا، جس کے شواہد بھی موجود ہیں۔ افسوسناک امر یہ ہے کہ تمام صورتحال سے آگاہ کیے جانے کے باوجود، آج SMC انتظامیہ کی جانب سے جس غنڈہ گردی اور غیر ذمہ دارانہ رویے کا مظاہرہ کیا گیا، وہ انتہائی قابلِ مذمت اور افسوسناک ہے۔
