A standout performance at the 2nd Lok Sahaita International Marathon earned 𝗠𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘀 2nd place from Sindh, as he goes on to represent the vision of Lok Sahaita and Sindh at the 53rd National Games.

A major media briefing took place at Movenpick Hotel Karachi to announce a historic milestone, the official course measurement of the Lok Sahaita Marathon course in Sukkur by AIMS and World Athletics. The briefing was attended by international measurer Kim Vivian from AIMS Chairperson Lok Sahaita Syed Pir Muhammad Shah, and the core organizing team.
Speaking to the press, Chairperson Syed Pir Muhammad Shah shared, We invited Kim Vivian to Sukkur to conduct the official measurement of our marathon course. Now that the route is going to be certified by AIMS World Athletics, athletes from Sindh and across Pakistan will have the chance to qualify for the world’s most prestigious marathons. This is a proud moment not just for Lok Sahaita, but for the entire country.

This global recognition positions Sukkur as a rising hub for international distance running. The Lok Sahaita team reaffirmed their dedication to fostering sports, health awareness, and international engagement through this globally accredited marathon platform.

𝗟𝗼𝗸 𝗦𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗘𝗗 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗨 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺

On 20th May 2025, Lok Sahaita and NED University proudly signed a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at NED University Senate Hall, Karachi. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in launching the STEM Talent Search (STS) program, a nationwide initiative dedicated to discovering and empowering young talents in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

The ceremony was graced by Prof. Dr. Noman Ahmed, Vice Chancellor of NED University, and Dr. Majida Kazmi, whose presence reflected the university's commitment to innovation and educational excellence.
From Lok Sahaita, the signing was led by Chairperson Pir Muhammad Shah, along with the core operations team.

This is a prestigious moment and an honor for Lok Sahaita to partner with NED University, one of Pakistan’s premier engineering institutions. Together, we are committed to reaching out to bright young minds across the country, especially those from underserved communities, and providing them with a platform to showcase their skills and potential.

Dr. Majida Kazmi, Director of the STEM Centre at NED University, delivered an insightful presentation highlighting the Centre’s initiatives aimed at advancing STEM education.

This partnership aims to make STEM education accessible, inclusive, and inspiring, helping shape the future of Pakistan’s youth.
