The violence and harassment carried out by KPK police against the transgender community during their protest in Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is highly condemnable and a clear violation of human rights. According to media reports, transgender protesters were baton-charged and several individuals were detained.
strongly condemns this incident and urges the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, higher authorities, and human rights organizations to conduct a transparent investigation and take immediate action against those responsible.
The transgender community are equal citizens of this country and deserve the right to live with dignity, protection, and freedom under the Constitution of Pakistan. Violence, harassment, or discrimination against any community is unacceptable.
We demand the protection of transgender rights, an end to discriminatory treatment, and the provision of a safe and respectful environment for the transgender community.

Subject: Community Registration Activity for Mpox Awareness - Global Fun Team
Respected All,
Today, 13th May 2026, the Global Fun team successfully conducted a community registration activity for Mpox awareness in the field.
During this activity, both the Sukkur community and the Khairpur community received dedicated awareness sessions from the team to support field operations and ensure clear communication with community members.
The team registered community members, shared key information on Mpox prevention, symptoms, and available services, and addressed their queries on the spot. The response from both communities was positive and supportive.
We appreciate the dedication of the Global Fun team and the transcender community for their field efforts in strengthening awareness and early reporting.
Regards,
Global Fund Team
