54 years of space exploration captured in two iconic views of our home. 🌍

On the left: The classic "Blue Marble" perspective from the Apollo 17 crew in 1972.

On the right: The breathtaking view the Artemis II crew will experience in 2026 as humanity returns to the Moon!

What do you think is the most exciting part about this new era of spaceflight? Let me know in the comments!

Why Is Earth the Only Living Planet? 🌍

Out of every planet in our solar system… only Earth has life.
It sits in the “Goldilocks Zone.”
Not too hot. Not too cold.
Protected by a magnetic shield.
Covered in liquid water.

Was this a random chance?
Or are we unbelievably rare?

Let’s hear your thoughts 👇

JWST Discovers a “Black Hole Star” 12 Billion Light-Years Away! 🤯

This image features an artistic rendering of a spiral galaxy, most likely the Andromeda Galaxy, the closest large galaxy to our Milky Way.
The galaxy in the image is composed of billions of stars, gas, and dust bound together by gravity.

Light from the Andromeda Galaxy takes approximately 2.5 million years to reach Earth.

This rendering also includes a planet-like object in the foreground to give a sense of space depth.

Sometimes while observing the Moon with powerful telescopes, a small object can be seen moving across the lunar view. Because the Moon is bright and clearly visible, even tiny objects passing in front of it can appear noticeable.
These objects are often meteoroids, satellites, or small pieces of space debris traveling through the space between Earth and the Moon. When they cross the telescope’s field of view, they may appear as dark shapes near the Moon’s surface.
The strong magnification of telescopes can make it seem as if the object is extremely close to the Moon. In reality, most of these objects are much closer to Earth, and the alignment with the Moon creates this visual illusion.
Events like this are known as lunar transits, where an object briefly crosses the Moon’s visible disk for a few seconds before disappearing from view.
Observations like these help astronomers understand how objects move through the Earth–Moon region and how frequently small space rocks travel through our solar system.
