*Orientation Session of Government & Private School Administration on the Polio Booster Dose Campaign – August 2026 | District Shikarpur*
An Orientation Session for Government & Private School Administration was held at the Conference Room, Deputy Commissioner Office Shikarpur, under the chairmanship of the *Worthy Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur,* to strengthen coordination and support for the upcoming *Polio Booster Dose Campaign.*
During the session, the Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur highlighted the objectives, significance, and operational strategy of the campaign, emphasizing the crucial role of educational institutions in ensuring successful implementation. He urged school administrators to actively support the campaign by creating awareness among students, parents, and communities to improve vaccine acceptance and public confidence.
*School administrations were requested to:*
- Conduct awareness sessions and deliver key messages during morning assemblies.
- Sensitize parents during parent-teacher meetings.
- Facilitate registration and vaccination activities within schools.
- Share official public awareness videos and campaign messages through school WhatsApp groups and social media platforms.
- Encourage teachers and school staff to support community mobilization efforts.
The participating School Administrations assured their full cooperation and commitment to supporting the campaign by promoting awareness, addressing misconceptions, and motivating parents to ensure that every eligible child receives the Polio Booster Dose.
