Star Welfare Organization is a non-profit, non-governmental and non-political organization came into existence on Feb 04, 2006 & voluntary Registered under Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance 1961. The org
anization is concerned with matters relating to gender based violence, women rights, women development, child rights, eunuchs’ rights, beggars, women’s & children’s shelter, police torture and missing persons. This organization is strongly committed towards women human rights, women sustainable social, economic development and consistent justice within society. Star welfare Organization has its Head Office in Sargodha, and five regional offices in the Punjab (Sargodha, Khushab, Hafizabad, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Burewala, Chichawatni, Bhera and Jarahnwala). Till date, we have launched various human rights initiatives involving following institution;
1. Hawa Shelter Homes (HSH)
2. Star Child & Day Care Centre (SCCC)
3. Help line & Help desk for GBV/VAW.
4. Star Vocational And Technical Training Institute (SVTTI)
5. Urgent appeal programme and Legal aid.
6. Star Welfare Muhamdi Aghosh Yateem Khana. We even have a Hawa shelter homes and Star Welfare Muhamdi AGhosh Yateem Khan as one of our main project. All services are free of charge and confidential.
