CARE A CAUSEAIMS AND OBJECTIVES
BACKGROUND
A family whose both children were born with rare chromosome deletions disorder by birth founded CARE A CAUSE in 2002. The CARE A CAUSEinstitute predominately exists on the will and wish of a self-suffering couple that have two disabled children suffering from MICROCEPHALY (SMALLNESS OF SKULL) by birth. Due to lack of dedicated diagnoses, treatment and reh
abilitation facilities in the home country a dire need was felt by the family to establish such a institutional facility to help cure the neglected segment of society in this educational field. The personal and at home experience of the couple created a new sprite in their hearts to combat the challenges and strife for mitigating to satiate the distress of disables and decided to establish an institution with the support and cooperation of few God fearing friends. The Institutes is a nonprofit educational organization that serves special children and people by introducing parents and carers to the field of patient’s diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation training and brain development. By enhancing significantly the development of their patients physically, intellectually and socially in a joyous and sensible way. The main objective of the CARE A CAUSE is to fight against disability and all other spheres of mental and physical disorders to provide following facilities/services free of cost: -
• To detect, diagnose, intervene and prevent disability and to provide medical diagnosis and rehabilitation support to special children’s and special people in the area of operation (AOR)
• Provision of special medical treatment, training and health care services immediately.
• Rehabilitation facilities / services to special children / persons.
• Provision of specialized equipment to the effected children / individuals.
• Imparting technical education facilities to absorb them in the society as “Earning Hand” for self-sustainability / self-reliance besides making them economically productive.
• To inculcate general awareness in the masses to treat and adjust special children’s in their normal life style;
• To plan, develop and procure audio – Video material for education and training of parents;
• Projection and recognition of potential of the special children/person though media.
• Arrange employment facilities for trained / qualified special persons with the support of corporate sector to restore their self-respect.
• Vocational training facilities to all teachers and volunteers at regular intervals.
