A New Chapter of Welfare, Dignity and Support Begins

Al-Mizan Foundation is pleased to announce to the Judicial Family of Pakistan that the comprehensive Al-Mizan Welfare Policy, 2026 has formally come into effect and is now being implemented.

Developed in light of welfare proposals received from beneficiaries and duly approved by the Advisory Board, the Policy introduces Judicial Family Support Programmes (JFSP) comprising of seven dedicated welfare windows designed to provide structured, transparent and compassionate support in the areas of healthcare, education, widow assistance, skill development, interest-free loans, financial assistance and residential facilities.

Eligible beneficiaries are invited to submit their applications through their respective parent departments using the prescribed forms available on the official website of Al-Mizan Foundation. Applications must be accompanied by the relevant information and supporting documents required under the applicable eligibility criteria of the Welfare Policy.

This initiative reflects Al-Mizan Foundation’s continuing commitment to serving the Guardians of Justice with compassion and integrity

🎓 AL-MIZAN SCHOLARSHIP SUPPORT PROGRAMME
For Eligible Beneficiaries – BS, ADP & MBBS

Al-Mizan Foundation, in collaboration with IIMCT/Riphah International University, is offering 43 scholarship opportunities annually for eligible beneficiaries of Pakistan’s judicial family: 3 MBBS, 20 BS and 20 ADP scholarships.

Selected candidates nominated by the Foundation will receive a 100% waiver of tuition and admission fees, subject to merit, eligibility, programme availability and applicable institutional and regulatory requirements.

How to Apply:
First apply for admission to the relevant Riphah/IIMCT programme. Afterwards, complete the Al-Mizan Scholarship Support Form and submit it, along with the admission application/tracking number and required documents, through your parent Court/Department or designated Judicial Welfare Liaison Focal Person within the prescribed timeline.

A landmark and memorable occasion for the Judicial Family of Pakistan!

A high-level meeting between Al-Mizan Foundation and Islamic International Medical College Trust (IIMCT) was held on 11th June 2026 at Al-Mizan Foundation, Rawalpindi, regarding the renewed collaboration agreement for welfare initiatives of Al-Mizan Foundation.

The meeting was chaired by Hon’ble Mr. Justice (R) Mushir Alam, Chairman, Committee of Administration, Al-Mizan Foundation / Former Judge, Supreme Court of Pakistan, Islamabad. From Al-Mizan Foundation, Hon’ble Mr. Justice (R) Muhammad Tariq Abbassi, Vice-Chairman, Committee of Administration, and Mr. Zia-Ur-Rehman, District & Sessions Judge / Secretary, Al-Mizan Foundation, attended the meeting. IIMCT was represented by Mr. Hassan Muhammad Khan, Managing Trustee, Mr. Asadullah Khan, Executive Director, and Mr. Saif Ullah Khan, Lt. Col. (R), Director Procurement & Legal.

The final draft agreement was duly signed in pursuance of the approval of the Advisory Board / President, extending the collaboration for another 25 years commencing from 27th May 2025. This renewed partnership marks a significant step towards strengthening welfare, healthcare and educational support for beneficiaries.

During the previous collaboration, 27 scholarships / admission supports, including 4 Engineering and 23 MBBS cases, were facilitated for candidates recommended by the Committee of Administration. Two dispensaries were also established at Peshawar and Quetta, where services continue for beneficiaries.

The renewed agreement includes the establishment of the Al-Mizan-IIMCT Medical Complex at the Old Supreme Court Premises, 274 Peshawar Road, Rawalpindi, along with free medical check-ups and OPD facilities at Pakistan Railway Hospital, Riphah International Hospital, DHA Sihala, Islamabad and other notified hospitals, indoor treatment at 50% reduced cost, dispensary services at the High Courts of Quetta and Peshawar, medical camps for Al-Mizan Staff Colony, three MBBS seats annually or alternatively three BDS seats with full admission and tuition fee waiver, twenty undergraduate scholarships, twenty Associate Degree Programme scholarships, and free boarding and lodging for five students from Sindh and Balochistan.

The draft Al-Mizan Welfare Policy, 2026 was also discussed. IIMCT representatives assured that the policy and SOPs would be reviewed internally with relevant hospitals, colleges, admissions and IT teams for practical, transparent and need-based implementation. It was agreed that a joint welfare implementation committee / focal mechanism shall be formed, progress and challenges shall be reviewed bi-annually, and practical remedial measures shall be taken through mutual coordination.

IIMCT will also coordinate through its IT team for digital management of Al-Mizan welfare initiatives, including healthcare facilitation, education support, admission / nomination portal, beneficiary database, application and referral tracking, service reporting and student / beneficiary facilitation.

Both sides emphasized that education support may be aligned with technical, professional and skill-based programmes according to market demand, and that SOPs / policy may be reviewed and refined from time to time in the best interest of beneficiaries.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to the Chair.

This renewed collaboration is indeed a proud and encouraging development for the welfare of the Judicial Family of Pakistan.
