This Occasion was specially graced by Mrs. Tabassum Tanvir (Co-Chairperson) and Mr. Anwar Ullah Sheikh (Chairperson SOS Youth Hostel & Treasurer SOS Children's Village Rawalpindi).

A special initiative has been taken by the Chairperson SOS Youth Hostel with the endorsement of Co-Chairperson SOS Children's Village Rawalpindi.

Special Prizes were distributed in SOS Youth Hostel by the Chairperson SOS Youth Hostel who achieve upgraded percentages from 1st term to 2nd term in school examinations.

In Addition, special prizes distributed to those children who keep their rooms up to mark for three consecutive weeks.

Subsequently, special approval obtained by the kind efforts of Committee Member from The Arena (Cinema), where 10 children along with 1 supervisor are allowed to saw a movie in each quarter free of cost. And 1st round of The Arena was completed for the children who performed well in studies, room cleanliness, and good behavior in Football Tournament.

A dedicated day for the activity of "Calligraphy" was arranged by the help of one of our Committee Member.

This activity had provided Children's with an engaging and creative learning experience. The children eagerly participated in the session, where they were introduced to basic calligraphy techniques, lettering styles, and the artistic value of handwriting.

The activity helped enhance their creativity, focus, and fine motor skills while encouraging them to express themselves through art.

It concluded successfully, with the children enjoying the session and appreciating the efforts of the Committee member for arranging such a meaningful and enjoyable activity.

Happy New Year was celebrated at SOS Children's Village Rawalpindi with the kind and generous gesture and donation of Col (R) Tahir Mumtaz & Family. One of old associated donor of our village and Currently member of Management Committee.

Children had cut the cake, enjoined the delicious snacks and juice. The children's also perform few tablu's for 2026 welcome.
