Azat Foundation successfully organized a Lesson Learned Workshop under the Integrated Disaster Preparedness for Resilience Building Initiative at Serena Hotel Quetta, in collaboration with key partners including WFP, PDMA, PMD, and SCAPE Balochistan Team.

The workshop brought together stakeholders to reflect on project implementation experiences, review achievements and challenges, identify best and promising practices, and strengthen coordination for future emergency preparedness and resilience programming in Balochistan.

Through interactive discussions and experience-sharing sessions, participants highlighted lessons on project implementation, coordination mechanisms, beneficiary targeting, digital systems, accountability, and community engagement. The workshop served as an important platform for collective learning and developing actionable recommendations for stronger and more effective future interventions.

Together, we continue working towards building resilient communities and improving disaster preparedness across vulnerable areas of Balochistan.

مرحوم نے تعلیم، ادب، سماجی شعور اور نوجوان نسل کی فکری و اخلاقی رہنمائی کے میدان میں گراں قدر خدمات سرانجام دیں۔ بطور استاد، شاعر اور اہلِ قلم اُن کی علمی، ادبی اور فکری خدمات ہمیشہ عزت و احترام کے ساتھ یاد رکھی جائیں گی۔ اُن کی شخصیت علم، کردار اور خدمت کا ایک روشن استعارہ تھی، جس کا خلا مدتوں محسوس کیا جائے گا۔

کوئٹہ، 15 مئی: صوبائی حکومتِ بلوچستان، یورپی یونین ہیومینیٹیرین ایڈ، World Food Programme، Food and Agriculture Organization اور Azat Foundation کے اشتراک سے Anticipatory Actions کے موضوع پر دو روزہ صوبائی سطح کا اہم تربیتی پروگرام 14 اور 15 مئی کو کوئٹہ میں کامیابی کے ساتھ منعقد ہوا۔ اس پروگرام میں مختلف سرکاری محکموں، تکنیکی اداروں اور این جی اوز کے نمائندوں نے بھرپور شرکت کرتے ہوئے موسمیاتی خطرات سے نمٹنے کے حوالے سے اپنے تجربات، مشاہدات اور پیشہ ورانہ آراء کا تبادلہ کیا۔

اس اہم تربیتی پروگرام میں World Food Programme اور Azat Foundation نے نمایاں اور کلیدی کردار ادا کیا۔ خصوصاً ورلڈ فوڈ پروگرام کی جانب سے Anticipatory Actions جیسے جدید اور مؤثر تصور کو فروغ دینے، تکنیکی رہنمائی فراہم کرنے اور موسمیاتی خطرات سے نمٹنے کے لیے پیشگی حکمتِ عملی کو مضبوط بنانے میں اہم خدمات انجام دی گئیں۔ دوسری جانب آزات فاؤنڈیشن نے پروگرام کے انعقاد، ادارہ جاتی رابطہ کاری اور شرکاء کی استعداد کار بڑھانے میں مؤثر کردار ادا کیا۔

اس جامع تربیتی پروگرام کا مقصد ممکنہ قدرتی آفات سے قبل پیشگی تیاری، مؤثر منصوبہ بندی اور مختلف اداروں کے درمیان ہم آہنگی کو فروغ دینا تھا تاکہ نقصانات کو کم سے کم کیا جا سکے اور متاثرہ آبادی تک بروقت امداد اور ریلیف پہنچایا جا سکے۔

تربیتی سیشنز کے دوران ورلڈ فوڈ پروگرام اسلام آباد کی محترمہ خدیجہ عابد، Azat Foundation کے خالدصاحب، Food and Agriculture Organization سے خورشید صاحب اور ورلڈ فوڈ پروگرام کے اسد صاحب نے شرکاء کو Anticipatory Actions کے بنیادی تصورات، عملی اطلاق اور عالمی سطح پر اپنائے جانے والے بہترین طریقۂ کار سے متعلق تفصیلی بریفنگ دی۔

اس موقع پر محترمہ خدیجہ عابد نے ضلع نوشکی سے متعلق ایک اہم کیس اسٹڈی پیش کرتے ہوئے بتایا کہ گزشتہ 50 برسوں میں سے 22 سال نوشکی شدید خشک سالی کا شکار رہا، جو مستقبل میں بڑھتے ہوئے موسمیاتی خطرات کی سنجیدہ عکاسی کرتا ہے۔ ماہرین نے زور دیا کہ موسمیاتی تبدیلیوں کے اثرات بلوچستان میں زراعت، لائیو اسٹاک، خوراک کی دستیابی اور عوامی زندگی پر واضح طور پر اثر انداز ہو رہے ہیں، جبکہ کمزور اور دیہی طبقات سب سے زیادہ متاثر ہو رہے ہیں۔

پروگرام کے دوران مختلف محکموں اور اداروں کے درمیان مؤثر کوآرڈینیشن، ڈیٹا شیئرنگ اور مشترکہ لائحہ عمل اختیار کرنے کی اہمیت کو اجاگر کیا گیا۔ شرکاء نے عملی مشقوں، گروپ ڈسکشنز اور تکنیکی سرگرمیوں کے ذریعے اپنی صلاحیتوں میں مزید اضافہ کیا اور اس عزم کا اظہار کیا کہ وہ حاصل شدہ علم کو اپنے اداروں میں مؤثر انداز میں بروئے کار لائیں گے۔

پروگرام کے اختتام پر تمام شرکاء میں اسناد (سرٹیفکیٹس) تقسیم کیے گئے۔ اس کامیاب تربیتی پروگرام میں World Food Programme کی تکنیکی معاونت اور وژن جبکہ Azat Foundation کی فعال شمولیت اور مربوط کردار کو شرکاء نے سراہا، جو بلوچستان میں موسمیاتی خطرات سے نمٹنے اور کمیونٹی کی استعداد بڑھانے کے لیے اہم پیش رفت ثابت ہو رہا ہے۔

سیمینار سے شاہ جہان مینگل، پروگرام مینیجر انڈس ہسپتال ڈاکٹر جان محمد کھوسہ، پروجیکٹ کوآرڈینیٹر آزات فاؤنڈیشن الی بخش آرائیں ،پروجیکٹ آفیسر سید مجتبیٰ شاہ پیرا میڈیکل اسٹاف جھل مگسی کے صدر محمد اکبر لاشاری، مولانا عبدالحئی عارفی، میڈیا انفلوئنسر و صحافی عبدالحمید لاشاری مانیٹرنگ آفیسر انڈس ہسپتال قاضی غلام دستگیر نے خطاب کیا۔
