The National Youth and Development Society (NYDS), under its initiative “Generation for the Environment,” successfully conducted an Environmental Awareness Session at Paramount Academy aimed at promoting environmental responsibility and climate consciousness among youth.

The session focused on key environmental challenges affecting Pakistan, with particular emphasis on climate change, sustainable practices, and the importance of collective action for a greener future. Interactive discussions encouraged students to critically examine environmental issues and explore practical, community-based solutions.

Important themes discussed during the session included:

A notable feature of the session was the Climate Pledge Wall, where participants expressed their commitments toward adopting environmentally responsible behaviors and contributing positively to climate action initiatives.

The activity created an engaging platform for dialogue, awareness, and youth-driven ideas, reflecting the importance of empowering young generations to become active advocates for environmental sustainability.

This short video is a tribute to the everyday heroes who uplift our society through their hard work and sacrifice. Let us not only celebrate their contributions but also commit to advocating for fair wages, safe conditions, and equal opportunities for all.

The National Youth and Development Society (NYDS), through its flagship initiative Generation for the Environment, successfully organized an Environmental Awareness Session at The MA Academy. The session was facilitated by Mr. Mansoor Ali and Mr. Khalid Hussain, with the aim of inspiring students to become responsible environmental stewards and active contributors to a sustainable future.

The session focused on increasing students’ understanding of today’s pressing environmental challenges while encouraging practical, sustainable solutions in everyday life. Key topics included the fundamentals of the environment, climate change and its causes, impacts, and mitigation strategies, the 7Rs of Sustainability, and the core principles of effective waste management.

To make learning more engaging and impactful, students participated in interactive hands-on activities. These included creating chart presentations using sticky notes based on the 7Rs of Sustainability, as well as a collaborative knowledge-sharing exercise where participants discussed environmental issues through structured group interaction.

A total of 27 students actively participated in the session. Their enthusiasm, thoughtful discussions, and creative involvement reflected a strong sense of responsibility toward protecting the environment. The activity successfully promoted critical thinking, teamwork, and a commitment to adopting eco-friendly practices in daily life.

This initiative highlights NYDS’s continued dedication to empowering youth, raising environmental awareness, and building a greener, more sustainable Pakistan.

NYDS is proud to officially launch the Generation for the Environment Program a dynamic youth-led initiative dedicated to environmental awareness, climate action, and sustainable community engagement. 🌍🌱

This program has been established under the platform of National Youth & Development Society (NYDS) to empower young leaders who are passionate about creating practical solutions for climate challenges and promoting a greener future.

The National Youth & Development Society (NYDS) is proud to announce the launch of its new initiative, “Generation for the Environment.”

This initiative aims to mobilize and empower young people to actively contribute towards environmental protection, climate awareness, and sustainable community practices. Through this platform, NYDS will engage youth in activities such as environmental education, tree plantation drives, awareness campaigns, and community-based climate actions.

Our mission remained clear: saving lives through knowledge and action. Through NYDS, the team led by Dr. Amir Atta successfully conducted a Training at Ortho Care Physio and Fitness Training Center, Rahat Medical Complex, Quetta. During the session, we had the privilege of training 15 participants, equipping them with essential life-saving skills and the confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations. This initiative reflects our commitment to building a safer and more resilient community where effort is valued over ease and impact matters more than applause. 🚨

Our mission continues to reach every corner of Balochistan empowering youth and equipping women with the confidence and skills to play an active role in society.

Recently, we conducted a Lifesaving and Emergency Response Training Session at Government Girls College, Muslim Bagh, where students learned essential CPR and bleeding control techniques under the guidance of our skilled trainers Mr. Zahid Agha, Mr. Zia Ullah, and Mr. Amir Atta.

This initiative reflects our strong belief that every woman should be equipped to act with confidence in emergencies and contribute meaningfully to her community. Each session we organize is a step toward building a network of empowered, trained, and socially response across Balochistan.

Our journey to make Balochistan safer and stronger continues — one community, one college, one young leader at a time.

We recently conducted a series of lifesaving training sessions at Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University, Quetta, where more than 200+ young women learned how to act with confidence in emergency situations. As the first women’s university in Balochistan, SBK plays a leading role in empowering girls through education and practical skills. Seeing the energy and determination of these students was truly inspiring a clear sign that women in Balochistan are ready to take the lead in community service and safety. The PLSP mission continues to grow across Balochistan, bringing lifesaving knowledge to more people every day — because every trained hand can save a life.
