d, tolerant and peaceful world for everyone, our key objectives include: 1) improving quality of life of vulnerable and marginalized youth and women through provision of life-skills based education (LSBE); 2) ensuring public access to information and protect fundamental freedoms, in accordance with national legislation and international agreements; 3) creating a friendly environment for youth and adolescents’ girls and boys by ensuring their participation in decision making, electoral process, democratic movements and active citizenship 4) creating sense of responsibility in individuals on interfaith harmony, social cohesion and resilience building. To achieve this, STREET advances a rights-based approach to empower youth, communities, and CBOs through providing them with skills, knowledge, and resources to promote a harmonious and gender-sensitive society. This involves promoting formal and non-formal education and capacity building, with STREET’s key areas of expertise including theater training's and productions, capacity building training's on leadership, democracy, dialogues, civic education, active citizenship, as well as training's on LSBE.
