BPA at Guftugu Quetta:
On May 5, 2026, the Balochistan Psychologists’ Association played a central role in "Guftugu Quetta," a high-level stakeholder dialogue held at the Quetta Press Club, Organized by Code for Pakistan and AID Balochistan, the event focused on the province's education crisis and EdTech integration.
Event Highlights:
• Expert Facilitation: Haji Mir Behram Lehri (member of BPA) moderated the session, leading 70+ stakeholders from government, academia, and civil society toward action-oriented solutions.
•BPA Advocacy: President BPA Ms. Ambreen Yusuf shared insightful views on the human side of education, alongside active participation from our BPA members Mr. Sajjad Ahmad and Mr. Mirwais.
•Mental Health Milestone: One of the key recommendation of the dialogue was the mandatory appointment of School Psychologists and Counselors to support school children in Balochistan.
• Future Vision: Participants agreed that technology must foster creativity and help bridge the gap in educational delivery.
This dialogue marks a significant step in ensuring that educational reform in Balochistan is supported by psychological expertise.
