Every 10 December, we commemorate the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). Proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in Paris on 10 December 1948, the Declaration set out, for the first time, the fundamental human rights that must be universally protected.

In a world that is suffering, marked by ongoing genocides and systemic injustice, we reaffirm that human rights belong to all people. As the World Student Christian Federation, we remain committed to advocating, mobilising, and working collectively for their protection and fulfillment.

Honoured to Welcome Archbishop Tapio Luoma and Primate of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland to Peshawar Diocese Church of Pakistan.

I had the privilege of meeting Archbishop Tapio Luoma of Finland during his visit to Peshawar. His presence was a great encouragement for our local churches and for all those committed to ecumenical dialogue, peacebuilding, and cross-cultural understanding.

Our conversation touched on the challenges faced by our communities, the importance of interfaith harmony, and the shared hope for a more peaceful and just world. It was deeply inspiring to witness such genuine solidarity from our global ecumenical partners.

Grateful for this meaningful exchange and looking forward to strengthening these bonds of fellowship and cooperation.

Harassment of women online is not just "cyberbullying"—it is a distinct form of violence. According to UN Women, nearly 40% of women internet users in Pakistan face digital harassment.

This hostility forces women to self-censor and retreat from digital spaces. We cannot claim to support equality if our digital platforms remain unsafe.

It is time to normalize respect, not hate. Let’s build an internet defined by dignity and inclusion for all.
