AG Peshawar AGAPE Trust had the honor of welcoming Brig. Mujahid Alam (Retd), Chief Executive Officer of Pathfinder Group, during his recent visit to our office.

He was warmly received by Pastor Hanook Hashmat, Chief Executive Officer of AG Peshawar AGAPE Trust. During the visit, Brig. Mujahid Alam toured various departments, gaining insights into the organization’s ongoing initiatives, including healthcare outreach, vocational training, advocacy, and humanitarian efforts.

He highly appreciated the impactful work being carried out by AGAPE Trust in empowering communities and serving those in need.

🏏 AGAPE Trust proudly announces the launch of Season 3 of the Peshawar Christian League !

After the incredible success of the previous seasons, we are thrilled to bring back this amazing platform where young Christian cricketers come together to showcase their talent, build unity, and promote healthy sportsmanship within the community.

📅 Tournament Dates:
April 27, 2026 – May 3, 2026
Format: Hard Ball Cricket

The initiative seeks to promote sportsmanship, unity, and highlight Christian cricket talent at the domestic and national level.

📢 Vocational Skills Development Program Launched - AGAPE Trust

AGAPE Trust is pleased to share that our Vocational Skills Development Program has officially started! This year, 104 students have been selected to receive professional training in different trades aimed at building their skills and preparing them for better livelihood opportunities.

The program offers training in a variety of fields including:

o DIT (Diploma in Information Technology)
o E-Commerce
o Web Designing
o LHV (Lady Health Visitor)
o Ultrasound Technician
o Anesthesia Technician
o Sewing Courses
o Photography
o Beautician Courses

This year, AGAPE Trust is especially focusing on youth between the ages of 15–25, equipping them with practical skills so they can become self-reliant and contribute as breadwinners for their families.

To begin the program, orientation sessions were conducted for students of each trade, where participants were introduced to the course structure, expectations, and the vision of empowering youth through skills.

We believe that skills create opportunities, restore dignity, and build stronger communities.

EMPOWERING CHRISTIAN COMMUNITIES – Advocacy Project 2026

This year, AG Peshawar AGAPE Trust launched its Advocacy Project “Empowering Christian Communities”, based on the strong belief that every Christian should know the laws and understand their legal rights. Legal awareness is essential for protection, dignity, and justice.

The first session of this advocacy project was successfully held at AG Grammar School Peshawar with the parents of school children, creating an open space for learning and discussion on legal rights.

The session was facilitated by Advocate Remesha Robin, who provided valuable awareness about Christian laws and explained how understanding the law can help communities safeguard their rights.

Pastor Hanook Chairman AGAPE Trust emphasized that AGAPE Trust felt a strong need for the Christian community to be informed about the law so they can stand confidently, protect their rights, and support one another.

This initiative marks the beginning of a journey toward a more informed, empowered, and resilient Christian community.

Rev. Dr. A. R. Hashmat Memorial Cricket Tournament – Season III

With thankfulness to God, we proudly conclude the Rev. Dr. A. R. Hashmat Memorial Cricket Tournament - Season III, a tournament organized to honor the life, faith, and enduring legacy of Rev. Dr. A. R. Hashmat (1952–2020), a Giant of Faith whose vision continues to inspire unity, leadership, and service within our community.

The purpose of this tournament was to promote fellowship, healthy sports activities, youth engagement, and unity among different ministries and teams while remembering the values of faith and discipline taught by Rev. Dr. A. R. Hashmat.

The tournament journey began with the Opening Ceremony at Hayatabad Cricket Stadium, graciously inaugurated by Chairman AGAPE Trust, Pastor Hanook Hashmat, along with Mrs. Zeenat Hashmat and family. Their presence set the tone for a meaningful and well organized event.

A total of 15 competitive matches were played with great enthusiasm by the participating teams: ABI Team, Pastors Team, AGAPE Trust Team, AG Alive Youth Team, Church Team, and Alive Youth Teens. Each team demonstrated true sportsmanship, commitment, and unity throughout the tournament.

The Grand Final was played between AG Alive Youth and AGAPE Trust. After a thrilling match, AGAPE Trust emerged as the winner of Season III. The Winning Trophy was presented to the champion team by Pastor Hanook Hashmat and Mrs. Nida Hanook during the Closing Ceremony.

May this event continue to strengthen bonds, encourage youth, and carry forward the legacy of Rev. Dr. A. R. Hashmat.

Graduation Ceremony - Vocational Project | Abbottabad

With great joy and gratitude, AGAPE Trust successfully conducted the Graduation Ceremony of the Vocational Program for Skill Development in Abbottabad for three classes

Two Sewing Classes and one Beauty Parlor Class.

A total of 27 students graduated from this program after completing their professional training. To support their journey toward self reliance, each graduate was provided with sewing machine and beauty parlor tool kits as seed investment, enabling them to start their own small businesses and earn a dignified livelihood for themselves and their families.

This initiative reflects the core mission of Vocational Program:
“Every family should have at least one bread earner through skill development.”

In continuation of our Punjab Emergency Flood Response, AGAPE Trust in collaboration with Purple Feathers conducted a Flood Relief Distribution in Jhang, Punjab.

A total of 40 flood affected families received relief kits containing essential items including hygiene kits, quilts, pillows, crockery sets, water coolers, and mosquito nets.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Purple Feathers for their partnership and to everyone who contributed to making this initiative possible. Together, we are restoring hope and dignity to families rebuilding their lives after the floods.
