"Justice delayed is justice denied. The youth of Chitral deserve encouragement, not intimidation."
The demolition of a Cafe near DC park by the Lower Chitral administration is deeply concerning.
The owner of Cafe documented the entire construction process from day one, regularly sharing videos of its progress. It took nearly 40 days of hard work, dedication, and significant financial investment to complete the project. He devoted all his physical effort, time, and resources to establish this small business with the hope of creating opportunities for himself and contributing to the local economy.
However, after only two months of operation, the café was demolished by the Lower Chitral administration without any prior legal notice or due process. Such an action appears unjust and discouraging for young entrepreneurs who are striving to build their future through honest work.
Instead of appreciating and supporting local businesses, this kind of treatment creates fear, uncertainty, and distrust among the youth. It sends a negative message to aspiring entrepreneurs who wish to invest in their communities.
We, the Chitral Young Stars, strongly urge the Deputy Commissioner Chitral lower to conduct a transparent inquiry into this matter and take appropriate action against those responsible if the demolition was carried out without proper legal procedures.
This issue is not only about Cafe it concerns the confidence of all young entrepreneurs in Chitral.
We stand for justice, fairness, and the protection of lawful business initiatives.
