Workshop Report: Career Counseling Workshop on “Personal and Professional Growth”

A Career Counseling Workshop on “Personal and Professional Growth” was successfully conducted at the Senate Hall. The session was led by Engr. Ali Hassan Bhutto (USA), who shared valuable insights on career planning, professional ethics, skill development, and global opportunities.

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation, with more than 150 students and teachers in attendance. Participants actively engaged in the session, reflecting keen interest in understanding modern career pathways and strategies for personal and professional development. The interactive discussion and practical guidance provided by the resource person were highly appreciated.

Overall, the workshop proved to be informative, motivating, and impactful, contributing positively to the career awareness and professional growth of the participants.

Department of Electrical Engineering, QUEST Nawabshah is organizing an online workshop titled:
“Solving Complex Engineering Problems through Final Year Design Projects for a Sustainable Future”
Brief Summary:
This seminar will introduce students to Complex Engineering Problems (CEPs) and their integration into Final Year Design Projects (FYDPs). It will highlight what makes a problem “complex,” how CEPs differ from traditional problem-based tasks, and how students can select and design FYDPs that meet CEP criteria. The session will also discuss the broader societal and environmental importance of CEP-oriented projects.
Objectives:
1. Understand the concept and significance of CEPs.
2. Strengthen awareness of professional competencies needed to solve CEPs.
3. Learn how to design FYDP topics aligned with CEP criteria.
4. Recognize the societal and environmental impact of CEP-based projects.

We are excited to invite you to the 6th PLUGIN Project and Poster Competition (PLUGIN '24), taking place on September 3, 2024, at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering Science & Technology (QUEST), Nawabshah.
This event provides a platform for final-year students and recent graduates in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computing, and related fields to showcase their innovative projects and research.
