NRDP was established in 1992 by group of youth volunteers and registered in 1995 under the Ordinance 1961 as the name of Narowal Rural Development Program (NRDP), the organization upgraded its status at national level in 2011 and registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 with the name of National Rural Development Program (NRDP).We effectively engage the low income communities in t
he fight against poverty. We are committed to serve people in need regardless of their religion, race or gender. Our programming approach aims to assists long-term sustainable change in communities, by applying an integrated and holistic approach focusing socio-economic and political empowerment. NRDP focuses on community empowerment rather than service delivery. To support initiatives for sustainable community based gender sensitive development with particular focus on health, education, agriculture, women & youth rights and micro credit/ enterprise development. To initiate structured advocacy campaign related to women & child rights issues; To build and strengthen the technical and management capacity of development organizations (Community Based Organizations(CBOs), Non Government Organizations (NGOs), Women Organizations (WOs) and Government line departments).To enable and secure male and female population from poorer communities in the intervention zones for sustainable livelihoods and to be partners and promoters of local development.
