A meeting of the AJK NGOs Alliance was held to discuss key development and humanitarian issues affecting the region. Representatives from member organizations participated in constructive deliberations focusing on the needs of the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, particularly in relation to social welfare, livelihoods, and access to essential services.
During the meeting, participants highlighted the major challenges faced by communities as well as by civil society organizations, including resource constraints, coordination gaps, and emerging socio-economic pressures. The forum provided an opportunity to share experiences, identify common concerns, and assess the current operating environment for NGOs in the region.
The meeting also emphasized the way forward, with participants agreeing on the importance of enhanced collaboration, strengthened advocacy, and effective coordination among stakeholders. Strategic recommendations were discussed to improve service delivery, promote sustainable development, and ensure a more impactful collective response to the needs of vulnerable populations in AJK.
The AJK NGOs Alliance reaffirmed its commitment to working jointly with government institutions, development partners, and local communities to address challenges and contribute to inclusive and sustainable development across the region.
