Lions Club of Multan Midtown proudly conducted a large-scale Tree Plantation Activity with the noble vision of promoting a greener, cleaner and healthier Multan. πŸŒπŸ’š

🌳 A total of 850 plants were planted at different locations across Multan, strengthening our commitment towards environmental protection, reduction of pollution, combating climate change and creating a sustainable future for generations to come.

A historic and memorable chapter was written in the journey of Lions International District 305-N1 Pakistan as The Flatties Hotel, Lahore proudly hosted the 30th District Governor Installation Ceremony along with the 1st District Quarterly Cabinet Meeting for the Lionistic Year 2026–2027.

The prestigious event marked the formal installation of District Governor Lion Zafar Mahmood Ch MJF and brought together Lions leaders and members from Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, Multan, and across Pakistan in a spirit of unity, leadership, fellowship, and service. The First District Quarterly Cabinet Meeting also provided an excellent platform for district leaders to share their vision, plans, and priorities for the new Lionistic Year.

The distinguished gathering was honored by the gracious presence of PID Lion Nilofer Bakhtiar and PID Lion Mian Muhammad Idrees, whose participation added great prestige to the occasion.

The Head Table was graced by IPDG Lion Dr. Nisar Ch MJF, PDG Lion Azam Ch MJF, PCC Lion Afzal Sipra, PMJF Lion Farooq Yousaf, First Vice District Governor, Second Vice District Governor Lion Ch Muhammad Altaf Shahid MJF, along with other distinguished Lion leaders from across the country.

The successful planning and flawless ex*****on of the Installation Ceremony reflected the outstanding leadership and dedication of Lion Hijab Mazhar MJF, who served as the Installation Chairperson. Her meticulous coordination and commitment played a vital role in making the event a grand success.

During the Cabinet Meeting, District Governor Lion Zafar Mahmood Ch MJF shared his inspiring vision for the Lionistic Year 2026–2027, reaffirming his commitment to strengthening humanitarian service, leadership development, membership growth, and district excellence.

Second Vice District Governor Lion Ch Muhammad Altaf Shahid MJF presented his comprehensive roadmap for the year and announced the successful updating of Khanewal Stars Lions Club on the Lions International Portal, with all club members successfully registered and updated. He also highlighted his strategic plans, donation initiatives, and humanitarian service activities, demonstrating his commitment to expanding the impact of Lions service throughout District 305-N1.

The ceremony and cabinet meeting concluded with great enthusiasm, fellowship, and a renewed commitment to the Lions motto, "We Serve," laying a strong foundation for another successful year of dedicated service to humanity.

✨ Installation Ceremony 2026–27 | Lions Club of Multan Midtown 🦁
The Installation Ceremony of Lions Club of Multan Midtown was successfully held on 8th July 2026 at CFC Marquee, Multan, in an atmosphere of fellowship, dignity, and celebration. The event marked the formal transition of leadership from the 2025–26 Cabinet to the 2026–27 Cabinet, reaffirming the club's commitment to the Lions motto, "We Serve."
The evening commenced with a warm fellowship session, allowing members, distinguished guests, and families to reconnect before the formal proceedings. The first session was skillfully conducted by Lion Roman Khan, Immediate Past Secretary (2025–26), who served as the Stage Secretary.
The meeting was officially called to order by Lion Dr. Abdullah Bilal, Immediate Past President (2025–26). The ceremony then proceeded with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Lion Shahid Nadeem, followed by the National Anthem presented by Lion Rao Waqas Nasir. The gathering proudly reaffirmed its commitment to Lionism through the Oath of Allegiance, led by Lion Prof. Azam Hussain.
A heartfelt welcome address was delivered by Lion Choudhary Muhammad Altaf Shahid MJF, Club Administrator, who warmly welcomed all distinguished guests, Lions, and family members while emphasizing the values of unity, fellowship, leadership, and humanitarian service.
One of the highlights of the first session was the Club Activities Report for the Lions Year 2025–26, presented by Lion Dr. Abdullah Bilal, Immediate Past President. The presentation reflected on another remarkable year of service, showcasing impactful community initiatives, successful club activities, membership development, and the collective achievements made possible through the dedication and teamwork of every club member.
Following the presentation, the first session concluded, and the ceremonial Change of Seats officially marked the transition from the 2025–26 Club Cabinet to the 2026–27 Club Cabinet, symbolizing the beginning of a new chapter in the club's journey.
The second session was gracefully conducted by Lion Dr. Ayesha Abdullah, Secretary of Lions Club of Multan Midtown (2026–27), who served as the Stage Secretary.
The newly installed President, Lion Malik Hafeez Ahmad, formally called the meeting to order and announced the Board of Directors for the Lions Year 2026–27, introducing the leadership team that will guide the club during the upcoming year.
The Oath of Office for the newly elected Board of Directors was administered by IPDG Lion Dr. Nisar Choudhary MJF, District LCIF Coordinator (2026–27) on behalf of Lion Choudhary Muhammad Altaf Shahid MJF, SVDG, officially installing the new leadership and reaffirming their commitment to serving humanity with integrity, dedication, and compassion.
Addressing the gathering, Lion Malik Hafeez Ahmad, President of Lions Club of Multan Midtown (2026–27), shared his vision for the coming year, emphasizing stronger membership growth, teamwork, innovation, impactful service projects, and meaningful community engagement to further strengthen the club's legacy.
The audience was then inspired by an encouraging address from PCC Lion Muhammad Afzal Sipra, who reflected on the true spirit of Lionism and motivated the newly installed leadership to continue serving humanity with passion, dedication, and unity.
This was followed by an insightful address from Lion Choudhary Muhammad Altaf Shahid MJF, SVDG (2026–27), who highlighted the remarkable humanitarian projects carried out under his leadership. He shared how the club donated 50 maunds of wheat to Kahkashan School, continued operating two free medical dispensaries, established a Free IT Centre, two vocational training centers, and free Quran classes to empower the community through education and skill development. He also spoke about donating complete laboratory equipment to a Government Girls High School, renovating the Children's Ward of Shahbaz Sharif Hospital, and providing a Laparoscopic Machine to Royal Health Care Hospital to improve healthcare facilities.
He further highlighted the club's environmental commitment through the plantation of 25,000 trees during the Lions Year 2025–26, while proudly announcing an ambitious target of planting 30,000 more trees during 2026–27. He also shared the success of the club's Dowry Project, through which numerous deserving families were supported in arranging marriages for underprivileged daughters. In addition, the club distributed 600 complete ration packages and 150 winter relief packages, donated a new model loader rickshaw, provided an ice cream manufacturing machine to support sustainable livelihoods, sponsored the complete educational expenses of two students of Emerson College, contributed Rs. 100,000 every month to support hospital services, and donated furniture to Millat Foundation, Qasim Bella.
Looking towards the future, he announced several upcoming humanitarian initiatives, including Cleft Lip and Palate Surgeries and Cataract Screening and Surgery Projects, reaffirming the club's unwavering commitment to improving lives through sustainable service and compassionate leadership.
The Chief Guest, IPDG Lion Dr. Nisar Choudhary MJF, delivered an inspiring keynote address, congratulating the newly installed cabinet and encouraging every Lion to uphold the highest ideals of service, integrity, compassion, and leadership while continuing to create a lasting impact in society.
The formal proceedings concluded with a memorable Group Photo Session, followed by a vibrant Musical Entertainment Program and a delightful dinner, allowing members, guests, and families to celebrate together in the true spirit of fellowship and Lionism.
The Installation Ceremony was not only a celebration of leadership but also a reflection of the unwavering commitment of Lions Club of Multan Midtown to community service, fellowship, and humanitarian values. A small act of kindness can make a lasting difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Continuing his commitment to humanitarian service, Lion Altaf Shahid (MJF), Charter President of Multan Midtown Lions Club and Second Vice District Governor (2026–27), generously paid an electricity bill of Rs. 10,271 for an orphan kids home, ensuring uninterrupted access to essential utilities for the children.

Supporting orphaned children is a noble responsibility, and this contribution reflects the Lions' enduring mission of bringing hope, care, and comfort to vulnerable members of our community. By helping provide a safe and secure living environment, we reaffirm our commitment to serving humanity with compassion and dedication.
