We are proud to share that Promoting National Cohesion (PNC) has been certified by the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (P*P) under its NPO Good Practice standards, with certification valid through 2029.

As a women-led not-for-profit organization in Pakistan, this certification reflects our continued commitment to strong governance, transparency, accountability, and responsible development practices.

This recognition further strengthens our resolve to work with communities and partners across Pakistan in advancing education, life skills, women’s empowerment, social cohesion, climate action, and sustainable development.

🤝 Exploring New Avenues for Collaboration

A productive meeting was held between Promoting National Cohesion (PNC) and the Character Education Foundation (CEF) to explore potential areas of collaboration and shared interests.

During the meeting, PNC highlighted its distinctive strengths and experience in Life Skills-Based Education (LSBE), climate and green initiatives, and SASA social mobilization models for community-level social and behavioral change.

The discussion also covered the PNC Community Schools, their innovative education model, and opportunities for developing future collaborative initiatives that can create meaningful impact for children, families, and communities.

Both organizations expressed their commitment to building joint synergies, sharing expertise, and exploring mutually beneficial partnerships in areas of common interest.

đź’” JUSTICE FOR THE INFANTS OF PIMS ISLAMABAD đź’”
The criminal negligence at PIMS Hospital Islamabad—resulting in the horrific loss of newborn lives in the neonatal ward fire—is a devastating tragedy that cannot be brushed off as a mere accident. Systemic failure, poor safety enforcement, and gross mismanagement ended innocent lives before they even began.
Condolences are not enough. High-level "inquiry committees" are not enough.
Civil society across Pakistan demands immediate accountability:
* Resignation of the Federal Health Minister: Take political responsibility for the systemic failures under your watch.
* Immediate Removal & Arrest: Terminate and prosecute every official, administrative head, and safety supervisor responsible for facility compliance at PIMS.
* Independent Judicial Inquiry: Conduct a transparent, non-governmental investigation into hospital safety protocols and maintenance oversight.
Our healthcare system cannot continue to trade human lives for institutional negligence. The families deserve justice, and the public demands systemic reform now.
