In continuation of its long-term partnership with Concern Worldwide (CWW), the Lodhran Pilot Project (LPP) is implementing the BRAVE Humanitarian Response Project, providing emergency and early recovery assistance to flood-affected communities across South Punjab.
The recent floods have caused widespread devastation, damaging homes, displacing families, destroying livelihoods, and contaminating water sources. In response, LPP field teams are actively assessing affected areas of District Multan to identify vulnerable households and ensure timely, need-based assistance.
From household assessments to sample validations, the ongoing field visits are helping determine priority needs for support in food security, WASH, shelter, and livelihood recovery.
Together, LPP and CWW remain committed to building community resilience and supporting recovery in the flood-affected regions of South Punjab.

Marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Lodhran Pilot Project (LPP) continued its commitment to women’s health through a series of awareness and screening activities held across Lodhran District.
In collaboration with DHQ Hospital Lodhran, LPP organized 9 community sessions during the month, reaching 309 women with vital information on early detection and self-examination. A total of 153 women were screened, and 4 diagnosed cases were referred for further medical care and support.
Through these initiatives, LPP reinforces its dedication to empowering women with knowledge, promoting preventive health practices, and ensuring access to essential healthcare services.

At the event of WHH 20-years celebration, LPP’s stall showcased its inspiring journey from youth economic empowerment and women-led entrepreneurship to climate resilience and community-based livelihood models. Visitors, partners, and donors appreciated the creative display of initiatives and success stories emerging from South Punjab.
Together, LPP and Welthungerhilfe continue to strengthen local capacities and promote inclusive, sustainable development — ensuring no one is left behind.

Lodhran Pilot Project (LPP) proudly participated in Welthungerhilfe's 20-year celebration of impactful work in Pakistan, marking two decades of partnership for sustainable development and community resilience.
Dr. Abdul Saboor CEO LPP, met Ms. Elke Gottschalk, Regional Director – Asia & South America, and other key development partners. The exchange reaffirmed a shared vision of empowering communities and building resilient futures.

During the Multan Literary Festival 2025, a powerful discussion was held on “Resilience in Ruins: Lessons and the Way Forward After the 2025 Floods.” The session brought together experts and practitioners including Dr. Abdul Saboor CEO LPP, Ms. Zahida Qureshi President Society for Special Person, Ms. Farhat Naseem Headmistress GGHS Chak Mahni Multan ,and Ms. Somia Farheen MEAL Manager LPP, who shared valuable insights on the challenges, institutional responses, and sustainable recovery approaches after the floods.
Panelists highlighted the need for collaborative planning, inclusion, and community engagement in disaster preparedness and climate resilience. They emphasized that recovery must go beyond rebuilding infrastructure, it should focus on empowering communities to plan, act, and adapt for a safer and more resilient future.
Lodhran Pilot Project (LPP) proudly served as a key partner in organizing the Multan Literary Festival 2025.

The Lodhran Pilot Project (LPP) family is deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of Mr. Rao Asif, who had been serving as an Engineer with LPP since 2010.
Mr. Asif was a valued member of the organization for over 14 years. His sincerity, professionalism, and dedication to community service greatly contributed to LPP’s mission and impact on the ground.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. His contributions and commitment will always be remembered with respect and gratitude.

May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah and give strength to his family to bear this loss. 🤍
